Gifting event

So i hears that when joining after december 6, we dont qualify for alliance event but then whats the point of even joining one? I believe we get solo events objectives but not the alliance ones. Correct me if i wrong. I just joined today and that means no matter how much i gift i wont be able to qualify for alliance rank rewards at the end at all? I believe the 14 day should be lessen to like 7 days as some people just hear about it later.

You will qualify if you join after the 6th. There will just be a delay in when you can start claiming your rewards. If you join with less than 14 days left until the end of the event then you won’t get anything. Kabam made a post explaining this

14 days. If you join your new alliance today (12/9/21 where I am, or 9/12/21 depending on where you live lol), you will be eligible to earn points for gifting on 12/23/21.

Essentially, if you join a new alliance, don't gift until the timer tells you that you're eligible to contribute points.
