A lot of people don't realize that the bulk of Hawkeye's damage comes from the massive bleeds he can keep on the opponent for a really long time. I recommend you look up NAGASE on youtube. They recently uploaded a Hawkeye showcase and it's amazing.
For me, he's worse than before. I would've liked a mechanic with his combo that switches his arrows from bleed to poison, shock. "Trick arrows", that's what I wanted. And kept his original power drain. Or made something like power drain in bleed mode, power lock in poison mode. Inverted combat power rate in shock mode. (you hit opponent/he hits you, you power drain for the amount it would have gained). All of this and increased his damage a bit.

I totally agree. That would’ve been so simple and so much better than the buff they gave us. I really hate that his power drain was changed.
He's definitely impacted by the "fix". He'll likely have to be sig 200 to get close to what his damage output was. I still like him though.
Even at sig 200 the yellow numbers won’t be close but people are over looking all that bleed damage and it can be poison with synergy. It gets up there and lasts forever.
Exactly, but if people don't see the big yellow numbers then the champion sucks.
Personally, I hate the perfect release mechanic. I think it was brilliant in theory and I'm stoked the dev team can still come up with these really cool and unique mechanics, but I think it was executed poorly. His utility shouldn't be locked behind the PR, rather I think when you get a PR, he inflicts an additional effect. So, on his sp1, you both power drain and inflict the suppression debuff regardless of whether you get the PR and if you do get the PR, it turns the power drain into a power burn or inflicts a second suppression debuff or a powerlock or a guaranteed crit bleed.

Isn't it a guaranteed crit tho? Which, with the sig, makes the bleed critical.

no, i doubt that would happen, his max sig before the fix would reduce physical resistence by 4700 per bleed. now it is just around 500 per bleed. so his signature ability is nerfed by a whooping 89.36 percent. so not even sig 200 hawkeye would deal damage as close as sig 20 hawkeye would do before the fix
Its been many days....what do you think of him after his damage fix??
His power drain is not good at all now, even with 5 perfect releases. I do not care for the update. I run suicides and won't use him in all reality, especially given the depth of my roster but I am very, very disappointed in the nerf to his power drain. I liked how you could always depend on that 40% drain before. But I guess nothing is changing for me. Wasn't using him before the buff, won't use him after so...I feel that it the sad thing. At least half of the champs that have been buffed have been so poorly buffed in my view that I won't even use them for "fun" or any reason beyond obviously arena when I even do that. If Kabam is buffing champs so people will use them more, I am at least one Summoner they are failing to reach. But obviously there are some buffs that are so great that champs become widely used so I am thankful for the buffs, just wish there weren't so many duds. I know they won't all be OP, but duds just suck because then it's like a waste of a buff. I know there are people who like Hawkeye's buff but I can't stand it, and it's not even because of the the PR mechanic, at least not entirely. It's more about how ineffective I fine his power control and specials you have to throw to ramp him up and then I still don't find him all that impressive...just mediocre at best.
If you guys dont know about the damage then watch this video https://youtu.be/-HQIur62v9g This is one of the best and easy rotation for him
watch the lol abomination solo by swedah before the fix. this damage is laughable compared to what he could do back then
And you go watch a RoL WS fight by pre buff hawkeye
i never said that buff hawkeye is worser than pre buff hawkeye. the fixed hawkeye is far worser than the hawkeye before the fix. You dont even read the comment and just give pointless replies. lol
In longer fights go to an SP2 and gain Fragility and then go to SP3.
Your critical bleeds will be almost double. Mine was ticking for 5k per tick doing that (R3 + LC and DE) and when I turned off the masteries about 3k per tick.
And they last forever. And lower physical resistance (3 bleeds).

The opponent bleeds out pretty much every time.
Hmm insightful.
Personally I wish they didn't tune his sig down that harshly. Should have been reduced, yes. But not that much
As I said before, the bulk of his damage comes from DOT that you can keep up almost indefinitely. It's the red numbers that matter, not the yellow ones

agreed, but he does not deal half as much damage as he used to. i liked him before the fix, sure his damage is good now but not as impressive as before.

ikr? it has been nerfed by more than 80 percent ( i did the calculations)

Imo, to keep it in line with other champs, id say a 50% would be alright, while still keeping his damage respectable. It's prebug state was way too high.

This is a sleeper buff that in 2 months people will be ranking him up
Yes laughable
very laughable
this dude casually dished out 60k damage specials and 32k mediums
