Kabam's own terms of service say that they have to show the drop rate. The drop rates were not shown.. and we have to just take word from it?... It also violates apple and google terms regarding the difference of online gambling and loot boxes... Honestly this is pretty shady if no proof can be shown.
@Kabam Zibiit This is something that would need to be revisited, regardless if the game team say it was correct or not it was not advertised with drop rates on the deals nor was it on the secondary choice screen. The secondary choice screen when you clicked on the crystal did not show the drop rates either. Based on what you have to as developers need to disclose (App TOS above) I would recommend looking into this again and making it right, thanks.

I really believe Kabam needs to explain better or resend those crystals.. A simple "i was told the drop rates were right" is not a great way to show transparency
It's so funny, they can get away with breaking Apples ToS, but if I request a refund because crystals didn't have drop rates posted, I'll get negative units and get penalized for a mistake they made. Always a lose - lose situation.
The team was able to confirm that these Crystals did have the normal Cavalier Crystal drop rates. We believe we found the display issue that prevented the rates from displaying, so this shouldn't affect any other Crystals.
Are we just supposed to take the teams word for it after they mess up the drop rates on most cav crystal offers
Considering they've taken onus whenever they were incorrect, yes.
When has this happened before? You are not comparing it to when the drop rates are incorrect are you? Those situations are entirely different, in one situation kabam has to make up for it since we have the proof they were incorrect but in this situation they hold the proof and could just say they were correct even if they weren’t.
The biggest problem about this situation is that they have broken the terms of apple in regards to gambling and drop rates
You don't want to go there. GW believes kabam displays drop rates out of the goodness of their hearts
Google Play Developer Policy: 7. Apps and games offering mechanisms to receive randomized virtual items from a purchase including, but not limited to, “loot boxes” must clearly disclose the odds of receiving those items in advance of, and in close and timely proximity to, that purchase.
Apple's App Store Policy: Apps offering “loot boxes” or other mechanisms that provide randomized virtual items for purchase must disclose the odds of receiving each type of item to customers prior to purchase.

Well.. that is a complete different matter.. cause its various items.. u request a refund and u keep the units and other nexus cav crystals.. that's not fair...
Well i'm not gonna call this a lack of communication since it was answered but I will call it a lack of transparency, there is absolute no way that Kabam can prove to us that the drop rates were accurate. I am sorry if i wont take their words from them I will proceed to notify apple and google about this issue on Monday. I will requesting a refund though since i dont wanna be in Kabam unit jail, but i will proceed to open tickets with apple and android unless there is further info by monday.
1. Lets come to an agreement that Drop rates were as per Cavalier Crystal Drop rates 2. I'm sure there are logs across your servers which must have captured what crystal dropped which Star character 3. Lets assume the following Across all your servers - lets say 2020 Crystals that were popped = 10000 What were the drop rates of all stars of the characters - eg 17 - 6-stars, 500-5-stars and so on. Lets then match that with "advertised" drop rates of a "normal Cavelier Crystal" drop rates Eg - 6-stars = 17/10000 = 0.17% and so on 4. A simple maths to get the percentile of the drops and compare to the normal ones 5. If the drop rates are offset - beyond aberration thresholds - resending the crystals with correct drop rates is the right solution. If the drop rates are within agreeable thresholds, then statement #1 holds good and we can rest this case.
However, to ensure there is no data manipulation - please have one of the CCPs or other influencers as part of your panel when you do your calculations. You do not need to share your "numbers" and still set a good faith for the millions of summoners who just want to see some transparency.

Alright, we're closing this thread down. The drop rates were mentioned earlier in this Thread, and are accurate. As for the case of Drop Rates not displaying, we have found the issue and have fixed it for the future, but this does not mean that we can fix it for something that has already happened. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I don't see any clearly disclosed drop rates.
Lets approach this in a SMART way
