Recently pulled Herc from a featured 5* crystal and I know he’s amazing when he’s awakened but how good is he unawakened?

I get that the damage is still there but is he still worth the R5 (just got a 4-5 cosmic gem from V8) without his awakened ability?

    Easily worth it, ESPECIALLY as a five star, because 5* gems are very easy to come by these days.

    For reference, I took my six star to r3 unduped. Would I give him a gem if I got one? Sure. Do I still use him almost everywhere? Yes.

    Totally agreed, I did the same and after some weeks I awakened him with 6* gem from gifting crystals.

    The base kit is pure raw damage, he ends fights pretty fast, awaken ability is only for dead cheath
