Gameplay Theme: Agatha creates a magical prison on the battlefield. While inside of it, she absorbs the Opponent’s powers and takes them for herself. She can then choose to spend this power to more easily defeat her Opponent, or take it with her to face future enemies.
Key Ability: She steals Power from the Opponent and with enough of it gains a Cross-Fight to symbolize the new power she attained. This Cross-Fight would potentially boost her core attributes, or perhaps grant her additional abilities.
Quicksilver:
Class: Science
Gameplay Theme: Quicksilver’s name says it all, he moves fast, and never stops (if he can help it!). Dashing around his Opponent, they never know from where the next strike will land, or when to aim an attack of their own!
Key Ability: Quicksilver uses momentum as a resource, building it by moving, and spending it to unleash powerful attacks, or avoid his opponent’s counter blows.
Oh, wow, totally surprising that Quicksilver and Agatha are the final two. Who woulda thunk it...
Just from reading that small tidbit about each champ, it sounds like Quicksilver will be a nightmare on defense. Also, Agatha just sounds more interesting.
I guess I'm voting for Agatha in the finals. I planned on just voting an equal amount for both finalists, but after reading Quicksilver's core abilities, he just sounds like a Nova clone with evade/miss to me. Agatha seems like a more interesting and unique character.
Agatha's description just sounds like Purgatory's worst mechanic. Meanwhile QS sounds annoying as hell to play in general... at least last year the basic concept ideas were both fairly interesting. Herc gives me some hope that even these subpar ideas will at least be executed well
Agatha. We could use another top-tier mystic option. It’s been almost a year and a half since the last “great” mystic champ, Tigra, was released to the champion pool. No disrespect to Dragon Man or Sigil Witch (she’s great, but not available to all players).
Quicksilver sounds like a potentially new take on Nova, who has been reworked twice and still is a dud. No thanks. Plus, science? I’m thinking that maybe the devs REALLY don’t want to fit his abilities into the game engine, so they provided a pretty lackluster ability description, haha
So basically each time someone cast a ballot, it added +1 to the respective champion vote totals, and when they were all added up, Agatha’s vote count was higher than Baron Zemo’s vote count. Hope the explanation helps! ^_^

They both sound cool but Agatha sounds awesome. Steals abilities and can save them for the next fight? I really want to see that.
Comments
now it’s quicksilver and his comics/fox fans vs the MCU Agatha fans.
again, shock. Who ever could’ve guessed. At least their kits look cool.
Guess it really will be Agatha All Along for me

and ... no one, nobody will know why the winner won.
They stacked the deck against Beta Ray Bill, so... *my interest has left the chat*
Gonna have to go with her based on the abilities.

I'll vote agatha only cuz I'm being forced to vote.
If so, I really hope we get both of this year’s champs.

I am fine with either. But voting Agatha.
