A 5* rank up Dillemma I'd thought I'd never have

I'm really looking to rank 5 a tech champ. My top 2 contenders are Starky and Nebula. I was gonna go Nebula, but then I saw Starky and had to stop and think. I just don't know.
I'm currently on 6.2.5. and working for 6.2 completion. I've attached pictures of my roster, and I will hear arguments for Sentinel or someone else. Thank you in advance

I would honestly go HB over either of them

May I ask why? I do like HB but why go him over starky? Nebula I could see an argument for

My 6* rank2 HB dominates cavalier EQ and he’s not even awakened

I find Sparky to be annoying to play. Building poise charges is a pain and he’s a bit of a glass cannon

I can see that. Thank you for your imput

Used Sparky a lot years ago when the trinity was still a thing. At least that started you with 3 charges and made it easier to maintain his damage, without Blade the dancing around to build them and his low armor I find to be more trouble than he’s worth

I like using starkly a lot more, but Nebs is more versatile and has more utility. She is also pretty useful for the most recent Merc Variant. Both her and Starky are good for the tech one.

SE Spiderman is niche. Some people love him, some people find his poise-building to be annoying at times.

Nebula has some solid uses, especially as a robot that is shock immune.

Sentinel is great option too, especially if you havent explored all the variants. He can be used in a few of them with a lot of benefits.

HB is fun and can be a solid option if you dont have a lot of power-control champs ranked up.

    Just boils down to:
    A. What content you want to focus on first?
    B. What champ would you enjoy the most?

Nebula is a good call. Triple immunity is something you are missing.

Thanks guys. Still have no progress on a decision, but this information helps a lot. I was leaning toward Starky, but now more toward Nebula.

Let's say the content I want to focus on is act 6. Whose the best pick?

I’d go with starky. I feel like he’s a lot more useable in act 6 than nebula and even hulkbuster will be. They’re all champions with slightly niche uses and I personally think starky is more useful.

Thanks for all your input. I went ahead and r4'd HB and will r4 Nebula next. Then when I have sufficiently used them, I'll r5 one of the 4.

I love HB and use him all of the time! He is solid for a couple variants, EQs, and questing. I wish you luck on choosing who to R5!

I’ve had Starky at 5/65 for at least 3 years. Nebula is 6* r2. Obviously they have very different play styles.

I prefer the feel of using Starky, but Nebula has more to offer a progressing account with the immunities, ability to tank s3s, and learning to play around rotations. Not to mention, she’s a great addition to a Corvus team with Proxima.

Also a good option for the Merc Varient.

    How can she tank sp3s?
