Going from phone to tablet experience

Hi,
I`m am thinking of buying an ipad 2021 to play this game on and read comics.
I was wondering how others have experienced moving from a phone to a tablet.
I have been playing this game since 2017 on phones from 5 inch to 6.5 inch. But never really on a tablet.
How did you experience the extra weight and size while playing for more than 30 minutes at a time.
Thnx.

Problem it's very different and results will vary depends of the person using it.. For me was a while to get used to it and I was on an 8 inches tablet instead of the phone.. And it felt weird everytime I was changing from phone to tablet and the opposite

    Personally, i recommend it.

I got an ipad an i play this (among other things) an believe it runs very smoothly. Yes bad wifi/no wifi makes it difficult but having the bigger screen and bigger area just helps me fight better and even anticipate my opponents moves.

Don't worry about the weight, you think its heavier, its really not. Personally i recommend buying an Ipad mini, especially since what you want to use is for personal use rather than work/tax related where i would then recommend a better ipad.

It will definitely be a adjustment in screen for you, but you'll adapt fast. If you have any questions about it or even more about the ipad model to get feel free to message me.

Hope this helps - also remember this is my own personal preference!

Thank you all for your replies. The Ipad mini is a Little too expensive for me. So I Will be going for the regular iPad 2021. A13 chip should be good Enough to run smoothly. Playing on an 8+ currently

How many inches is the regular iPad display?

That's big, significantly bigger than a phone, will take a while to get used to that, and it will be hard to get back to a phone

I play with two couch pillows on my lap, to prop up my iPad. I can play for hours that way.

I use an iPad Pro 12” model (the big one) as my primary device for this game, I rarely take a serious fight on my iPhone, i play significantly worse so i only use my phone for auto fights and arena if I’m bored and without my iPad.

I started playing this game about a year ago on an iPhone but quickly switched to the iPad Pro. The experience on the iPad Pro was a lot better. It gives your finger more space to move around and it’s a lot easier to see on a bigger screen. I can only play using the iPad now…the iPhone just feels cramped.

Definitely recommend it. The first best decision I made, regarding this game, was switching from Android to iPhone. The 2nd best was adding an iPad as well.

The main difference between the phone and the tablet, comes from the display. 16:9 perspective against 4:3. I prefer the 16:9 on the phone, but honestly, the whole game experience on the iPad is much better. You get to enjoy many little things that you are missing on the phone, due to its size.

My wife (best wife ever) had been searching for over 2 hours to find an ipad2021. And finally found a store which had 1 left. She drove an hour to get it for me. I am currently at work, still figuring out the best way to thank her.

Thank you all for your advices, I will be enjoying the game on my new toy tonight.

That would be a dinner at the fanciest restaurant of the type of food she likes on a destination vacation she's always wanted to go....

Anything else, she will be able to dangle this over your head for years to come....

I have an ipad and literally only play on it when my phone is charging. Also, i never do AW/AQ/Act 7 on it either. Strictly arena if my phone needs to charge up. Its clunkly, unenjoyable, and just isnt the same for me.

Plus, i dont like the resolution. Only seeing 3 rows of 3 champs gets very annoying when running arena. If im deep into my roster, i need to scroll down ALOT. Wastes precious time and is just very annoying.

Been playing this game since it came out almost exclusively on an iPad. Got the 2021 iPad Pro last year and it runs even better (my third iPad purchase since this game came out, started on an iPad Mini, then a 2018 iPad Pro, and now this). No issues w/ the game whatsoever (freezing, lagging, stuttering, missed inputs...I have never experienced any of that). I play a very limited amount on my iPhone 12 Max (but like most others, can't stand playing on the phone because the screen is so small), but mainly when I'm out-and-about and need to move in AQ/AW.

I went from a phone to a table about 2 years ago.
At that time the IOS iPAD was far more responsive than my Samsung phone and I liked how my fingers didn't get in the way of the action.
However its **** now, with input issues, lagging and crashing. Haven't tried a phone again.
