What’s with the low drop rates on cavs this month?

So last month, I can understand why the rates were lowered. Cheaper crystals, lower chance for good rewards.

But this month, they are back up to 4k shards per crystal and yet they still have the reduced drop rate. What’s up with that?

    It's not how much they cost per crystal from month to month.
    But rather designed to be similar in actually how many you would be able to get each month.

    Kabam already explained this in another Post's reply.

    Although they said they will try to be more consistent in future so people don’t have misunderstandings and post about changes each month.

    See, but that only explains the varying costs of the crystals. The reduced drop rates haven't been addressed. I think a lot of us would like clarity on whether it was intentional or not, and if this is a permanent change.
