Cosmic Awekening Gem - Hyperion or Angela?

Hello everyone. I got both Hyperion and Angela 5r1 and unawakened. I know that Hyperion is a beast but even though I don't know a lot about her, I've heard that Angela is one of the best cosmic champions too and I could go with her given her utility (basically immune to everything, good regen and damage).
I also have other cosmic champs that I don't use like Captain Marvel Movie or Medusa but I think Hyperion and Angela would be the best option to progress in the game.

What do you think?

    For Angela u'll need to do significant sig stone investment which I assume u currently don't have
    Hyperion is good to go at sig 20

    Hype, CMM, and Medusa are probably the right choice, but I had a similar issue and I used it on Angela. I had enough sigs (they were also expiring) to get her up. I really like her and find her useful in both AQ/AW and I'm sure when there's new story mode I'd be able to make great use of her there.

    But I chose Angela partly b/c I don't really like using Hype and CMM (though if I had Medusa, then I probably would have picked Medusa over Angela).

    Indeed I don't have that much sig stones to invest in Angela, unfortunately...

    My suggestion is to wait until you have actually ranked them up, by that point you may have one or more of them duped.

    True. Use them on on hype imo, but if he's like r1 don't gem him. Once he's at a level you want to use him in story content.

    Yes that's what I'm going to do I think. I'll rank up Hyperion and when he is 5r5 I will give him the gem if I didn't get any better in the meantime!

    Whatever it is just don't wait. I have wait for Magik for a long time and now I have 3, yes THREE mytic awakening gem for no actual reason. I have use one on Voodoo, Diablo, Mojo, Tigra and I still have 3. Funny rng on my account.

    I may just play Hyperion wrong, but I used my r5 Angela more in act 7 than I did my duped Hyperion. She fills more of a utility role and is amazing on some of the paradox paths even though she was a 5* and not a 6*.

    You are also right, I will just wait for Hyperion to be 5r5 and if by that time I still didn't get Hercules, I will use my gem on him!
