Anyone else's parry issues NOT fixed with the opt in beta?

This update has caused my character to drop guard and stand there when I try to dex, about 10% of the time.

I had already active the beta input control features. I’ve off it & then turned it back on, my control inputs are missing. I missed parrys & block now

No. It means you have to parry ahead of time to get the input to register at the correct time. Same idea as to when you have bad brakes. You have to break ahead of time, otherwise, you're going to roll straight through the stop sign and get wrecked.

The beta is trash. Still the same old issues… dropping parries and taking combos to the face. I don’t know how kabam can justify bringing in end game content whilst advising not to do end game content. Thanks for the potions etc but at this point, it’s not enough.

My experience is that parry with the beta inputs is far, far worse. I am missing parries both early and late. You just know when you’ve nailed a parry, so it’s such a shock - still - when you get clocked!

In arena tonight, I missed a parry at least once in every three fights, sometimes multiple times in a single fight.

The sentiment that Kabam out out recently - that this is somehow working and has overwhelming positive feedback (in the first accidental email that they withdrew) is absolutely gaslighting at its finest.

The second message they put out - that we will have to get used to the timing - is also hiding the truth, that they have failed to fix this. Either you’ve shortened the window where a parry registers (why would you do this?!) or (more likely) you just plain have failed to fix it, and what would register as a parry one time doesn’t register the next.

Either way, please, please return the parry window back to its original. Until you haven’t done this, you have done it.

Have any of you noticed that this “dropping input” has become more of an issue since they keep trying to give champs new animation and putting so much animation into the background ? Maybe that causes the issues… just a thought 🧐

Issues I didn't have before are popping up regularly now. Occasionally I'll have my champs fist visually going through the other champs head but still not registering as a hit.
Typically a medium at the end of a combo.

I turned my beta off and controls seem better or I am just used to the crappy gameplay from before.

I tested the input beta for about a week and notice parry to be worse. I missed more parry than before. I decided to opt out of beta and parry seems to be better.

They need a excuse to move on from the control issues that’s haunting the game. They haven’t been able to do that,..so they gave us smoke and mirrors.

New imput is bit better, parry is working sometimes, dex bit laggy, overall I am happy with te beta content and performance. fight are less freezing. I still got some issues like no parry at all in some fights no matter how I try to do it.

Game still a joke, controls work when feel like it, missed inputs galore 🙁
How u can have the audacity to send a mail to all to say that your dropping comp packages before seeing if supposed "special update" fixed all the issues is mind boggling.
What is actually going on with this game and dont you think its now time to stop making new content until bugs 1, 5, 9, 12, 18 & 22 are fixed 🤪
Im sure nobody would complain if you released a statement saying something along those lines.

Actually, there would always be someone out there that would complain but still, time to fix this once awesome game for the masses dont you think?
