New Cav Difficulty Objectives

What direction would u guys prefer for Kabam to go in w.r.t. these additional objectives

Not 4* objectives. When I consider the T4 cats I wasted on 4* champs, I’d prefer to not go that road again.

Tags could be fun. But the tag system should also be expanded a little bit.

“Thronebreaker+ players will receive a monthly objective to explore the Cavalier Event Quest for Tier 6 Basic Catalyst Fragments and Tier 3 Alpha Catalyst Fragments.”

It says what the objective will be there doesn’t it?

I figure it’s just a way to offer T6B and T3A for exploration without putting it in the rewards so Cav players get it.

That could be one of the reason they increased T4CC payout, so that there'll be lesser complaints about 4* objectives compared to last time
I really hope it's not what they have in mind bcoz instead of making it interesting & fun, those 4* objectives just make it even more boring by making the fights last much longer

Good observation. Hope that’s not the plan. I really don’t want to parallel rank 4* counters so I can get drips of higher cats.

I feel that it’s pretty black and white that there will be an objective for TB+ and that objective will be to explore Cav EQ. I mean, it’s written there isn’t it?

Can someone explain what you think that sentence means if not what I’m saying.

the way I read the announcement... the TB+ objective was for completion only... not completion with a certain standard (e.g. only 4 star champions)... and was being used more as a way to give a trickle more rewards to TB and paragon players, but for not additional effort.

If players are bored and what to do their own challanges... great idea... we have all these extra champs/ might as well use them... but adding the challange to the reward wasn't the goal here.

@Kabam Miike can u provide a clarification on this issue.....bcoz seems like currently there's some confusion among players as to whether these are just additional rewards for Thronebreakers & Paragons without any extra effort, or will there be specific objectives for the same

As much as I hate to agree with BitterSteel I read it that way too.

I think it's a tactic to get the game time metrics up and keep people in the game. Also people have been vocal about not exploring Cav lately because of work/reward. So this could be a direct result of that.

Reading the announcement I assumed they wanted just to give us more rewards based on title... That's how their offers work anyway

Explore and get rewarded is how I read it. Everyone Cavalier and above has access to the difficulty. This just separates the overall rewards for different progression levels: Cavalier and below vs Thronebreaker and above.

As written, the announcement is unambiguous. It states that TB+ players will have an objective that will give T3A and T6B fragments for performing the task of exploring the Cav difficulty of EQ. There is no other proper way to parse those words in English.

Whether the announcement wording matches intent, however, is more like an 80/20 proposition.
