We should've received energy refills for battlegrounds

Battlegrounds is extremely buggy, one of the more common bugs is picking an attacker and then when you load into the fight it's a completely different attacker, not to mention the dex issues are way more prevalent in battlefield

I imagine you’ll be getting several responses along the lines of “it’s still just a beta”

Well if it's a beta, don't they want more players?
That’s my thought on it. I’m not asking for free shards or mats, but if the beta has an entry cost, give me some “tokens” or something to mitigate it so we could enjoy playing it more without sacrificing our exploration of the EQ’s
It's not something that's intended to be done unlimitedly alongside EQ. Part of the game involves making decisions on Resources and prioritizing. We can't run everything without some type of cost. It's not a replacement to the game itself, just another game mode we can run if we choose to. Especially when there are Ranked Rewards.

My guess would be that they want to see how many people play it when it’s their own resources as a cost to enter.

If there were free tokens or energy refills given out the percentage/numbers of players partaking in the beta would be sure to be higher, since some will play it just because there’s no cost to their roster.

If I were running a beta I’d want to make it as realistic to launch as possible, so I got an accurate number of players who were playing it.

I’ve had it a few times that my defender placed is different from who I picked, don’t worry they are selling an energy subscription today lol

If battlegrounds had its own energy system, then most everyone would be happy to see it. The only unhappy people are those like me with 15 energy refills in overflow 🤣

Also since there is a store and you can buy rewards it's not like you are wasting energy. If that wasn't the case then I would also be arguing for free refills.

The fact there is a store doesn't negate the thought of wasting energy for something

Why does battlegrounds have an energy requirement anyway? You can only use a champion a certain amount of times before they individually lose out on energy, seems rather odd that it’s a twofold system

Is it really wasting if you get rewards?

In that sense every content in game except arena is wasting energy.

Yes. Even though it gives rewards it can still be seen as a waste. Rewards do not automatically mean something is worth resources. Even with rewards, someone can see something as a waste of time or resources, especially when they have other content they see as worth more whether to progress or to get different resources.

Just wanna add on a few issues, I've noticed that sometimes in battlegrounds some champions like Moleman in battlegrounds still have their pre-nerf/buff abilities, also often you'll get a black screen bug after finishing a fight, or you'll be taken to the results screen for 10-15 seconds before your fight starts which essentially wastes time and lowers your score (I've lost because of this)

Starting to feel like groundedwisdom lol. If players have other content then just play other content if they value it so highly. It's still in beta, if it's such a waste then wait for the full release.

Btw this is spoken as someone who also feels a decrease in energy cost to 10 or 5 would be ideal.

Didn’t Kabam send 10 full refills just recently?

You could argue that its counterproductive approach .. I know of a lot of people who refuse to play it in a beta stage with their valued resources. I get that they'll want to gauge the popularity of the mode so why not create a new energy for just that mode, they would then get the people interested in the mode playing it when they have the time
