Cool. You found one person and the only thing they said was he thought the synergies for both seemed mad. There wasn't anything about him wanting to buy the bundle just for the synergies and him not wanting QS. All he said is he wants to test them. Not proof you were looking for.

That screenshot was taken AFTER he bought it and Kabam said they were going to make changes.
I get that they can change things whenever they want and sometimes need to make adjustments when they don't go according to plan. That being said, some sort of action from Kabam that displays genuine empathy to those that have been completely rug pulled by this nerf would go a long way to maintaining trust and integrity (and no, a forum post stating "Sorry guys, we do a lot of testing but didn't catch this. We can make changes at any time though, per the TOS." is neither helpful, nor empathetic.)
I can only speak for myself, but I was really excited about the synergy as I thought it would bring SW (my first 4*) back into a usable form. I purchased QS solely for the synergy (he is a great champ, but I wouldn't have spent the money if it weren't for the synergy), then took my unawakened, R1 SW to 5/65 and Sig 200. To those who have asked before, I'm not sure how I am supposed to provide evidence of my intentions prior to purchasing, which is the entire foundation of some counter arguments I have seen (that's just silly).
Not sure what I am supposed to do now, just accept the fact that I didn't get what I thought I was paying for and have a lot of resources (gold, iso, cats, sig stones, gems, money) that are now lost as a result? I am a very casual player who isn't super skilled, so the resources that went into SW are not easy to come by for me. She is not usable in most content now because the limited damage doesn't offset the RNG and liability of trying to use her, and even her "ROL fun factor" (which was honestly my favorite part) is now just "sometimes kinda fun, with the right RNG".
I should also point out that there is a HUGE difference between "we can make changes at any time" and "we can make changes at any time, but don't like to, are sorry if we need to, and will try to compensate those affected when we have to".
Kabam has made sw basically irrelevant again with this change. Why will anyone use her with a cap of max 3. For a synergy team, there was no need to nerf it to the ground by this much. They really need to test these things before releasing. Even the nerf changes, it doesn't seem they test.
Not every situation is created the same, and different situations will be handled differently. If Scarlet Witch needs an update, she'll be a candidate for one down the line in our regular rebalancing efforts.
