Why do i need to use Elder Mark's to earn points in Solo and Alliance events? I am free to play and i want to play Battlegrounds whenever i have leftover Energy. Why can't i get these rewards by playing with Quest Energy? Please remove this gatekeeping Kabam.

    So f2p should have the same benefits as paying players? 🤔
    With the resort example and this BG gate.. its obvious Kabam is starting to make a bigger gap between spenders and not.
    It wouldnt have surprised me if they would have charged a monthly card to pay BGs

    There is a middle ground I am sure between the current EM event requirements and what the OP is asking for. Let's see what changes they make now that they know people don't like it as is.

    There’s a difference (imo) between advantage and a clear unfairness between P2W and F2P players. The main difference is that F2P has a literal CAP on how many points they can earn without spending. If they want to go past that cap by playing BGs they quite literally cannot. There is no system in place to allow F2P players from surpassing that cap.

    Mentioned in my other thread. I think this was their attempt to have a free track and a paid track for participation rewards, like some other competitive FTP games do (but also like Summoner Camp). I kinda wonder if maybe their plan is to transition Summoner Camp over to this, and run it monthly tied to the BGs season instead of three months per year.

    But putting everyone in the same track like that just really rubs your face in it, and sticking the big stuff on the rank rewards is very unbalanced.

    They're not dollars/euro 💶
    Unit via arena monthly quest etc

    Well.. here is the question though.. is this really pay to win?
    It takes units.. u dont have to buy them, u can farm them...
    Now from that point its your own decisions that make u prioritize the situation..
    Do u want to spend the units u can get from farming and FREE in the game on potions? On Cav Crystals? On 7/4 or CM deals?... Or play BGs?

    Because they re greedy and everyone should embargo this game mode.

    So Elders is the only mode that counts for the battleground solo rewards? Victory track doesn’t give points towards the solo rewards?

    That's just theory. F2P can grind units, but with great amount of time. Units don't come easy and people have to choose which content and offers are best for them.

    I have 13k units which I want to use for Cyber weekend not this failed game mode. If there is no significant change next season it will be the playgrounds for just few whales.

    I’ve never played a single match of BGs, not in the beta, and not in this release, especially because of the rampant cheating during the beta and now the heavy monetisation. It’s completely disincentivized me from wanting to play the mode at all, and my want to play it in the first place was already fairly low due to the restrictive nature of decks, how masteries are set, among other things.

    This is exactly my situation and feelings about the mode. I also find it off-putting that they relied so heavily on getting regular players to test the mode for them and to generate the data they wanted/needed and the "reward" to the player base for helping them was this gated content.

    I know we "test" most of the content for them, but this being a completely new mode to the game makes it seem like they needed the beta players even more for this. I also know the players could get some rewards from doing the beta but I don't think they were anything like what they apparently plan to release with this mode (relics), which if things remain the same will potentially be mainly for paying players.
