Serious question about the difficulty of things

Now this is master and whilst it’s zero trouble for me, I’m just thinking looking at this how a person who’s got like one 5 star level 25 is meant to do this seems a bit unfair to newer players

While I have always been someone who wants the game to be accessible to all, I guess I am going to ask it like this: What’s the definition of “a newer player” that we’re using?

This game is a long haul. It’s done a fantastic job of accelerating the early portion of the game and increasing the rate of progression, but I do think that Kabam actually would hurt “newer players” overall if the developers made it so they blew through every piece of content without putting in at least some pretty firm minimums on skill cap, understanding RPG, learning the combat mechanics and so forth.

Again, I am not saying I want anything to be too easy or too hard. But it seems to me that if a “newer player” struggles with the Master side quest — which is available for 30 days — then it’s not a crime to actually practice, learn the nodes, and try again before the event ends.

Then, if you can’t crack it, take the lessons learned and try to clear next month’s side quest.

But there’s a bigger danger in making it so “newer players” blow through content without learning all the mechanics of this game than them not getting through a Hercules miniboss with a couple of nodes

That’s a fair point I guess for me a newer player would be someone just starting act 3

There are certainly skilled players out there, people who pick up this game and are amazing almost immediately. So I don’t mean to disrespect anyone.

But I guess I think, if you’re just starting Act 3, then while Kabam has absolutely made it so you could have a pretty decent foundation of a roster, I guess I am going to say that Master side quest might be something maybe a month or two beyond where their roster and skills might be.

It would be close, because of how Kabam has accelerated the beginning of the game and the ability to pull strong kits faster.

Solo’d all 3 fights with 3* CGR on my mini, it’s not as challenging as it looks
