Kabam is doing us dirty!

Let's face it, the gifting (banquet) event is the largest of the year and they need to give the whales the best materials to make their money. However, Kabam is yet again out of touch with the majority of their player base.
People DO NOT WANT T4 class cat crystals, Cav crystals and Cav nexus crystals, small amounts of gold, iso and sCRAP. Especially when it will cost 300 units. T4 Cat crystals are SOOOOOO outdated by now and spending 300 units to have a chance at getting one is absurd.
I know that this event will be a huge success because of the solo rewards, however Kabam is screwing over players who don't have $1000+ to spend. The large spenders will not notice these bad drops because they will open more and better rewards however the majority are going to get screwed more then once by these outdated ****.
At the very least Kabam should have removed scrap, all cav crystals and T4 crystals.

    Errr.. ppl need to read better.. it says ADDITUONAL GOLD AND ISO, which was in previous GGC already.. it doesnt say u will get ISO or Gold...

    I agree, rewards out of the crystals seems kinda garbage now, will have to see what the percentages are on launch but have a feeling they won't be much better.

    Gotta say unless I'm missing something the Solo and Alliance event rewards seem pretty good and worth it, but I won't be buying more crystals after that probably

    It comes down to percentages. I won’t be buying many if percentages suck. I don’t want/need additional Gold/ iso-8/ scrap. Especially for 300 units.

    Because increasing the drop rates of good items for people who are buying less also benefits the people who are buying more. If there’s a 50% chance of getting a 6 star and a whale spends on 100 banquets and I only buy 5 than the reward for the whale would be getting (about) 50 6 stars. while I would get 2 maybe 3. But if the drop rates suck and I don’t get any 6 stars and the whale gets 4 than that doesn’t mean that the rewards don’t still suck

    So... these are BANQUET crystals, not TOPGUNRULES crystals. They aren't custom tailored to you. So while you may not need the T4, there are plenty of people who do. These crystals are for the entire player base.
    If you try to please everyone than you end up pleasing no one. Apparently Kabam doesn’t understand that. Maybe that’s why thronebreakers and paragons are still getting cavalier rewards.

    I agree on the junk rewards, but also keep in mind the milestones. I think if everyone in your alliance buys approximately 4 GBC (1200 units so a week and a half of arena grind and battle tokens)and all units they receive from milestones are put back into the game, your alliance will also receive 100% of the alliance milstone rewards.

    So a few crappy t4cc and sCrap, but the alliance rewards will outway the t4cc.

    Now on the other hand, I really need to awaken more champs to make them useful for more than arena and who doesn't want a shiny weapon x on their AW and BG teams...

    Focus on the milestones if you only getting a few crystals and those alone will be worth the units if everyone chips in about 4 initial gbc and uses the units from milestones.

    Hi, paragon player here. For a long time I've struggled with t4cc because you need 15 of them to take a champion from r1 to r3 6*. Which isn't that bad until you get 10 of each class you don't need to just get 5 of the one class you actually needed. For quite awhile, kabam hasn't given out much t4cc, but they're doing much better about it now.

    Uh no. This community is just toxic like that. They're always mad. They could get 5 R5 6* gems in the mail today and still complain they didn't get gold or iso to level them up or that they don't have god tier champs to use them on.

    In all fairness there are people who put up like $10k+ for this event and alliances that are putting up probably close to 100k or more…what do you expect them to get for that kind of money?

    If we value a 6* AG or 6* abyss nexus at like $100 (probably less than that tbh these days) then it seems reasonable that people putting up 10k for this event should get about 100x the value for putting up that kind of money.

    Once again this has nothing to do with the argument that’s being presented. If I’m rich and I want to spend more money and get a higher quantity of rewards than that’s my choice. However that doesn’t retroactively change what the QUALITY of rewards is. If you increase the quality of all rewards than people who spend more are just getting more of the higher quality rewards. THAT is the value of spending more money.
