I absolutely hated the nodes. Absorbing Man literally cannot be put down with the nodes on. I took him down to 5%, then he just regened back up again. Literally horrible. Just horrible. No other explanation. Dipped 100 units in the EQ and finally gave up. I am now depressed
To be honest, not a great design for Mystic champs.
If you look at the defenders and nodes then I found choosing a team based on that information better than just opting for my best Mystics. I brought HT and Scorpion for boss every time and the other 3 slots were path clearers which I believe on 2 occasions didn't even have a Mystic within my team.

The greatest path clearer was OG Guillotine. Used her for every path fight bar 3. Masochism Mysterio dealt with in 59 hits and 50 seconds using a rank 2 Guillotine. The protection path was LONG- over 150 hits in every fight, but the simplest fights.
What's the point in giving us a way to gain an attack boost to only add a 50% protection node on top of it, then on some lanes add weakness nodes?
The protection potency is linked to defenders power bar though. So if you use the right champ, you can manage the amount of power the opponent has. Greatest example is Guillotine, all you have to do it hit the defender to drain their power. There's only 2 fights in the entirety of 3.2 that she doesn't work for- King Groot and Vision Aarkus. Every other fight is: back defender into corner, parry and spam heavy until they're dead.
The biggest issue is the combination of nodes and defenders put on them made it to where you couldn't use it as an advantage. I found myself just picking a team to counter the path and not take advantage of the class/team bonus. Scorpion was my best counter to abs.

I have a small ass roster and it wasn't even that bad. It just took a long time cuz of the protection node. I learned that instead of bringing only mystic champs, you need to bring specific champ counters. That made domino and kilmonger relatively straight forward.

Also, it didn't seem like the furies were working every time - doom wasn't getting them on every sp1.
That guy or team should be fired immediately. Worst EQ ever.
