BG is filled with honorable summoners

I know that lots of people complain (and rightfully so) that BG is full of modders and people who use the pause button after only 15 seconds. However, I'd like to give a shout out to everyone that I've been battling. Even though I've been stuck in diamond 1 for a week and a half, I haven't encountered any. Throughout the entire season, I've only faced one modder, and none who have paused the game after getting in a few hits since the third day.

Everyone I've been fighting has rather been willing to lose than get the 15k from automatically pausing for two minutes. Here is a typical scenario (all 4 we're rank 4) where it would seem obvious to pause for 2 minutes because you're not going to get more than 15k, but we both played until we died. And yes, I know some of you would say either of us should have just paused, but I'd rather play and lose than wait for two minutes.

Tiny, tiny little health percentages that it doesn’t show

Has anything official ever been stated on this? The health decimal thing would have to be a tie breaker as they both earned the same amount of points. Are there hidden decimals on the final points? Probably not meaning the tie breaker would either have to be “hidden health decimal points” or time since the other player survived longer.

With the difference that they didn’t get EXACTLY the same amount of points.
It may appear that both got 5,149 PTS and took out 17.2% of defender’s health, but in reality the losing player might took out f.e. 17,197% off and the winner 17,198% of defender’s health.
Too much decimals do not appear because they would mostly confuse players, instead of only helping in extreme cases like this.

Yeah, I understand the theory and I agree it makes sense but without an official statement or a way to confirm this it’s just a theory people are parroting into accepted fact. But I guess it doesn’t really matter because it rarely happens and hasn’t been identified as a bug so the theory is most likely plausible.

Actually, your actual points are in fact rounded off for display purposes. I don't know if there's ever been a public statement to that fact, but I'm pretty certain this is the case from discussions going back to the early betas. While the score might appear tied visually, the winner is determined by the actual scores, not the visually rounded scores. So a tie requires an exact match in scoring to I believe two decimal places. In that event, the match becomes a literal tie, which is extremely rare.

Having thought about this and taking in to consideration the things greekhit and dna3000 have said I’ll admit I was wrong. What both of you explained made sense.

I also couldn’t come up with a reasonable way to fix the problem other than adding the hidden values but that wouldn’t look all that great aesthetically and might present different issues. This will probably just be one of those things that pops up on the forums once in a while.

I think i lost because of time. I was defeated in 45sec and i my defender took 52sec to neat him. 🤔

Getting back to my original thread, because Masacre likes to talk about himself, I just made it to GC (finally - this was the longest I've taken), with my final fight being a Rintrah vs void and Rintrah vs BWCV. Neither of us were able to use our Hulklings.
