Only like 1 billion more shards and I'll finally have a 7* these better be worth it

Seriously though, champion duplication is not the most efficient way to get shards in general. Almost none of my 6* champs come from 5* duplication, and once 7* champs are officially released there will be opportunities to earn 7* shards at a much higher rate than what you are acquiring through duplication now.
