When they first announced relics and 7* back in october/november they said there would be ascension to for 6*and below rarities so the gap between the old champs wouldnt be so big with 7*. Yesterday during live they didn’t talk about it. Does someone know if they still plan to implement it in game?

    Hopefully, so the skill gap can be closed between newer players and the OG veterans. Ascension would be the perfect opportunity to attract newer players as well. The vets aren’t gonna need Ascension much, and so they would avoid it, allowing newer players to ascend champs and have a better chance.

    So "the most important part of our current progression roadmap" (quoted from your roadmap about ascension) is not being released at the same time as 7*. So for the average summoner (who this ascension is ment to help) who will have 0-1 at most r5 6* when 7* get released will have to fight 7* in AW, arena and BGs but won't have to means available to actually be competitive. Why/how is that seen as ok by Kabam?

    A 7* will be weaker then a 6* r 5, it would be no different from fighting a 6* r4 or a 6* r3 depending on what a 7* r1 max is. So that “average summoner” will be fine.

    Your right about the fact that 6r5 is stronger than a 7r1, kabam confirms that in the quote above. But nowhere do they say that a 6r4 is also stronger than or equal to a 7r1.

    We can go by previous ranks and rarities. A R1 7* will be slightly more powerful than a R4 6*. It’ll be practically unnoticeable.

    Nope ascension is where your 4* and 5* of say Domino will give your 6* Domino a small stat boost.

    That would normally be true but Kabam has made it a point to tell us to not base our information on past precedents.

    having "some indication" of what ascension is would be nice. I've heard guesses such as it just being "another level with a rank up needed" to "if you have lower star levels maxed out, it increases the power of your champ".

    If it were indeed the latter, that would be nice to know... people could consider doing rank ups.

    Maybe just be patient like the rest of us had to be. Veterans didn't just 'get to where they are' we've played for years and we have stronger and better line ups because of that. So essentially you're saying, that our time and financial investments shouldn't matter compared to the ease of your play. And experience. Guess what bud? There were years of play where I couldn't compete with other accounts and some content. It's called work. Put it in. Or don't. It's not up to kabam to 'make things easier'. Sorry. That's competition. I've played since day one. And even I can't get anywhere in bg because the ranking system put in place for 'equal grounds'makes all of my opponents op whereas much of the gladiator circuit is lower accounts who get paired against lower accounts who just spend a little money to get better champs. Super fair.

    I agree with Pandingo. I have trouble at times, but I really consider it a factor of my skill or sometimes I blame my device when I see lost connection mere moments before landing the final blow on a tricky fight. Let's face it, if it were easy we would get bored and not play anymore... I personally like the feeling of satisfaction when completing a piece of content that is hard for me even though I might need to run through many times before working it out.
