First they told me that rewards are in progress. Then they told me it was a delay but it was going to be resolved Then it was silent (weekend) Now they told me it was removed , no rewards are coming and we Can focus on the current one instead.
So yes, they removed it. It ran for 7 days and ended correctly. Then it was replaced with the same even again running for 7 days. But it also appeared another SA event with the updated 7 star things (see the first post in this thread). A few hours later both the wrong event and the one that was completed a few hours earlier were deleted from the game.
The results being we did not get the rewards as usual since the event no longer exists. (Deleted before payout).
@Kabam Miike how about some acknowledgment to that csr’s response. That is not how the game works. We did our part for the week and we do not go without rewards simply because the event changed.

I don't think SA rewards can be cancelled like that. Can you post the screenshot of this part from the support.

Confusing enough. Im not even sure they understand what the issue really is in reference to their answer.
We get that someone hit the delete/disable button on the old event. What they probably didnt expect was that it affected the finished event aswell.
Since my alliance did very well (like we do every week) on the SA score I am missing rewards: (calculated on the previous 4 weeks as reference)
8.5k 6 star shards (Milestones and rank rewards) 10k 5 star shards (rank rewards) 3 energy refills (full ones) 120k gold 2x alliance lvl 2 team revives And some other stuff i Guess. ISO?
I have a feeling that support is referring to the double SA event that dropped last Thur. They removed the old SA event that rewarded the 6* shards and left the new, revamped SA event with the 7* shard rewards.
However the missing SA milestone and rank rewards from the SA event ending Thur 5/4 has not be acknowledged or addressed. When they updated the SA event to incorporate 7* shards, the previous completed SA event was lost in the shuffle even though it was the same as every SA event before it and shouldn't have had any issues.

I think both replies were talking about having REMOVED this current week's extra (old version) of SA that was started at same time as the new version of SA this past Thursday. That is what was removed, and no rewards will be given for that 2nd instance which was only live for a very short while.
I don’t think Support was saying that the prior week's COMPLETED one will not be getting rewards.
Unfortunately, I believe that since Kabam had maybe yanked the old version of SA out of the system, they may be having trouble trying to restore access to that prior week's Completed Data for Alliances/Players. And if they can’t restore it to see exactly what alliances did, they may (don’t have any direct knowledge, just guessing) have to reward that week based on another week's rewards then. But since they wouldn’t even be able to look 2 weeks back either (remember, that whole event may no longer exist in system, no matter which week), they may end up waiting until current SA is over in 4 days, and just DOUBLE the rewards on that to make up for the lost SA.

Its quite a heavy loss.
I can wait for rest of the items. But the revives were needed for current unintended AQ cycle. It did cost units to some players.

If there was something wrong with that specific event I would understand the actions taken. But it ran for 7 days , the problem was the one after.
Also got a reply from support confirming the rewards.
Its mixed messages that creates this friction. Sorry for the inconvinience.
I poked the team earlier today and they're making sure the rewards go through. They will populate over time.
