Battleground store update is a joke.

As per previous history of periodic update in battleground stores, there shouldn't be any new update for 3 more months.

And with July 4 deals drops, this store looks like pretty outdated in 10 days.

What is your thoughts on this?

    For someone that has no r5s is it better to get a stronger r4 roster prior to obtaining the t6cc selectors/crystals? Got 9 r4’s at the moment

    Just because you don’t like the update doesn’t mean nobody does. BGs store is currently the easiest way to get r4, r5, and r2 resources for cheap. You can easily get a new r4 every week with this update. If you’re just a bit more fragments away from your 3rd or 4th t6cc, buy a selector in the store for cheap. If you’re close to your 3rd, 6th, or 7th t6b or t3a, buy the fragments in the store. Very valuable, very cheap, very good. My only complaint about the store is the way overpriced 7* shards. That’s it. Everything else is phenomenal.

    I’m not having a single r5, despite I have the mats needed (t6cc and a rank up gem) to take 3 champs to r5 now.
    I’m building my r4 roster (currently ~15) before I start doing r5s and raise my Prestige.
    Currently can reach Diamond in BGs in couple of days, having a higher prestige will get me stronger match ups and will make the climb more difficult.
    R5s doesn’t needed for any other content except PVP (AW and BGs) so for me they can wait for now.
    But you do you 🙂

    R4 materials were 10k tokens, now are 3620, some Bg fights in, now I’m closer than ever to my first r4

    @Greekhit A top ranked GC player told me that once you get to diamond your roster doesn’t matter anymore and you can get matched up with anyone.

    But before that, i was paranoid about raising my prestige for this reason (i think the overall hero rating/roster size) is also a factor outside of prestige? Just not sure if its for the BGs card or overall account

    But it does make sense to avoid r5s to avoid harder matchups especially because of these july deals

    I was able to be competitive last few seasons despite playing opponents with like 4K more prestige in gc. I only have one r5 from eop but now the whales could have gotten 4 rank fives from the deals and idk if I can compete with that anymore. But there will always be competition at the top between the whales, no matter how small

    Two things you "can do" instead 1) Lower your expectations of a for profit mobile gaming company or 2) Be less entitled

    Before this spending event I would’ve hit disagree but post event, you are 100% right.
