I opened mystic crystal and kinda happy with how it’s resolved

A lot of people are now unhappy with the Kabam after the fix. But I'm happy with everything, opening this crystals was fun. Plus tried playing a bunch of 6* characters. Had a lot of fun over the weeks. One day ban is a paltry price to pay for that. Plus I got really lucky with 7* pulls and those characters stayed on my account. So a big kudos to the guys at Kabam. And thanks to the community for supporting fellow gamers in this situation :D

    Funny that they removed very first pull which was 90% obtained without mythic crystals. But I got 3 more. Good thing first one was worst of them, 2 out of 3 that I still have is definitely in top 5 of a basic pool.

    With the differing stories of people getting widely differing scales of punishment. Taking them with a grain of salt since they're exploiters anyway.

    If true that some lost way more than they opened and others kept 7*s and other stuff through the exploit. It's very poorly "rectified". But again, take what anyone who used the exploit says with a grain of salt.

    The more I think about that, I am wondering if kabam really has the technical pre-condition to solve such exploits. I compare that with SAP - there are, reports and various standard transactions but this seems to be very special.

    Somebody knows more about the technic itself?

    Okay, so - I know no one who participated at this exploit personally and kabam does not want to give more details at this particular topic. The only source of truth I can find is the forum threads.

    I hope that they take everything away which came with this exploit.
    Come on guys, don't be so jealous and mean. Be a little happy for the people in your community. After all, it wasn't someone else's million bucks that accidentally landed into the wrong account, was it? Nobody loses anything in this situation.
    I don’t want to philosophize around what is fair and right and what isn’t.

    I am just saying that you guys had an incredible advantage due to a bug. They can not offer this „bug“ to all due to the potential gamebreaking risk.

    Probably kabam can share details on Monday
    You could have gotten even more of an "incredible advantage" by spending couple hundreds bucks in July 4 deals. Saying something about an advantage in a game where any progress can be bought with money is hilarious :D

    People who talk like this don’t know that your earn money by selling your time. They think selling your time for in game rewards is any different or better.

    Man, this sounds like another boo boo as I am sure the intention is to reset the account back to before the crystals were claimed. Once they are opened, too many permutations to factor in.
    Like some of the discussions I have read, the shooting star quest was played when they shouldn’t, battlegrounds fights won using the champs opened from these crystals, BG solo rewards, BG GC rewards and the alliance rewards that benefited by their contribution.
    If this is not rectified in time, then any future competitive game modes will be affected by these ‘bonus’ 7* champs.
    I hope the team can truly make this right by everyone.

    Hmm, why not? It is not like I'm exploited anything or use some bugs. It was Kabam mistake in the first place. I guess couple 7 stars is fair compensation for several weeks of uncertainty and 1 day ban.

    If you're saying that being banned for a day or so from the game and uncertainty over an exploit that you used is worth a couple of 7* champions, then could I suggest a new career in comedy because that's absolutely hilarious.

    Your mention of SAP gave me PTSD. I was project leader of SAP integration with legacy systems back in '04. Shudder.

    Anyways, most likely the query was looking for If crystal opening=y AND between xdatetime and xdatetime, list Champ results, delete. Anything further than that would definitely take a full week to unwind AND make a ton of assumptions that wouldn't be one size fits all. Heck just thinking about it I could see a room of folks shouting each other down about variables and what's fair.

    Ugh. SAP.
