Quit out and try again when you're more comfortable. Energy is easier to come by than revives and you can't comfortably do that path than keep retrying to you can.

If I recall correct you don't want to debuff him. That incldues parry. I think Penni would be your best bet.

Take the time to read his abilities carefully, because it's a tricky fight if you don't know what you're doing.

I believe that giving him a debuff causes the ability he's currently on to activate at a high degree - of particular danger are the power gain and regenerate ones, while the armour and fury ones aren't quite so bad.

Learn to play effectively stun immune by learning how to intercept, bait and punish heavies, etc.

Some champions particularly help shutting him down - Nebula just needs 5 (?) shock charges built up to shut down robots, Red Magneto of course with his magnetism (albeit not 100%), Gamora with Nebula Synergy and built up buffs - just to name a few.

I recall days of yore when Loki was hailed as a strong champion for that fight, while I and plenty of others used Corvus Glaive and just played around the stun immunity.

For now, quit out, build your stockpiles back up, work to complete that path with all your champions healthy, then give it another go. You'll make it!

Is King Groot able to armor shatter and stop Ultron from Ultroning?

Well that’s up to you, Medusa and Vision are your best options, or if you want to try the Loki strategy.

Claire and Cosmic Ghost Rider are good options as well, but you have to play carefully

If I remember correctly you need a poison immune champ for that fight. A champ that can deal lots of dmg will help a lot. I used hype. I probably mistaken... was thinking about Ultron boss in act 6.

Just use doom and steal his power gain (can’t remember if ultrons power gain was a buff or passive)
    Also medusa

Short answer, yes. Long answer, also yes as you'll use them for more than 1 fight. Medusa slays any robot. Aarkus is solid all around.

I think OP probably solved this 13 months ago.

Mysterio is also a terrible option.

    Don't necro old threads.

It’s a tough fight for sure. Be ready to fight the same exact version of ultron with way more annoying nodes in 6.1.2. I don’t know why it had to be ultron again tho. (I don’t read the story dialogues)

Mysterio relies on a power drain debuff though, it's not passive

Search for Wiccan cheese act 5 Ultron boss on YT. There’s a crazy loop between the way neutralize works and the way Ultron’s buffs are coded. You put a neutralize on (don’t parry him to do it) and when he triggers a buff, the neutralize goes to 99 incinerates instantly. Ultron dead.

If you have any rarity of Wiccan it should work, just be careful putting on the first neutralize with your light ender…

    1. This is an old thread
    2. That was patched back in like July, it no longer works that way which also ruined the loki cheese.
