Loyalty update and caps comisary

Was there any information at the start of the month about the store update and this cap comisary thing? Used in excess of 1.6mil points first week of September, and I want to know if I was knowingly stupid or just a case of misfortune.

To my knowledge we have known for a month, the 7* Loyalty crystal and the champs within were revealed during a live stream last month

And they also mentioned the store being updated in this post dated Sept 6: https://forums.playcontestofchampions.com/en/discussion/345805/aw-season-44-new-map-and-rewards-update

Cap's was a surprise until a week prior

Damn, it was mentioned right at the bottom, even without comisary event, I have used 1.5mil loyalty on half t3 and t6, now it's full cats for that price. SMH, feeling stupid. Thanks for the link
