With that out of the way, your score is based on the floating point value of your health. So while it shows you 13,700 points for health, that is just rounded for display, and you could have actually gotten 13,699.9 points. The opponent, while showing they got 13,112 points, could have actually had 13,112.1 points.
The points for time are flat numbers, doesn't matter if you finish in 30 seconds or 30.1 seconds, you get the exact same amount of points.
This means, that when you add your scores together, you could have lost by just mere tenths of a point due to how the health points are calculated.
Hopes this helps. If it doesn't I got another way to explain it... Math hates you.
