does psychic shielding work in last phase of Neco-boss fight?

Or is it only "reverse controls immune" champs that would stop the flip-flop?

I'd love to bring Wags to place charges for 3 fights + last phase... but would hate to invest a slot for just that, only to find out it doesn't work at the very end.
