Worst completion opening ever?

So grinded for those revives and took Aegon through path 1. Finished up last night and went to bed.

This morning was excited for the opening
Opened my 2-3 gem and got... yep cosmic.
Opened my 1st Titan crystal and.... Iron Man
Since I don't have any cosmic 7* champs out of 18, picked that class 7*gem
Ist class 7" opening... Venom the duck
2nd class 7" opening... Venom the duck

Not even kidding. At least I got the 6* hulk relic I guess. Sigh

    Are you serious?! Have you seen his Damage when Rammed Up?
    yea, he is less useful for Short Fights, But once you Ramp him up, Man! His Damage is just Wow!

    VtD was the first champion which completed RoL for me, 4* Venom the Duck, it was a fun day, felt good to be able to do it, so I have a huge love for him, he is still good, but pretty niche

    My first class crystal I awakened G2099. My second class crystal added 20 sigs to G2099.

    I'm not touching the Titan crystal for at least a couple days after that.

    Not to mention that I have decently bad luck overall with crystals. My 1st 7* from the 10k trade-in was... Rocket. My 2nd 7* from the 10k trade in was... yep, duped Rocket.

    The game is trying to tell me something I think. I did take him to rank 2 just to top my champ roster for a bit.

    Iron Man is a pretty good champ. I also think his cycle is a bit boring but hey, he’s still hits hard and has some nice utility

    Congrats on completing Necropolis.

    I agree that after the accomplishment, it is deflating to pull champions you are not excited about.

    Iron Man is a good pull, but definitely not someone who would immediately excite me. Even if Iron Man is better than the newer champions (like Gladiator), I still personally would prefer pulling, as a 7-star, a brand new 2023 champion.

    Venom the Duck also has his uses, but considering VtD is good once ramped, that means (1) He doesn't work to his strengths in BGs, (2) Aegon is already in use to complete Necropolis and better in everest content, and (3) There really isn't any meaningful content to use VtD with if the player is Paragon and doing Necropolis.

    I used to run my 7* VTD in AQ MAP 7. He's super fun in Incursions as well.

    Tbh this is exactly why I'm not bothering with Necropolis.

    I have awful luck so I know my 2-3 would be something I don't want, and all the resources spent ranking and completing it will be wasted.
