Banquet idea - Alliance Progression tiers

I get that the banquet caters to the majority, and the majority are not paragons or valiant. Majority is probably cav and thronebreaker, and the banquet rewards definitely feel like thronebreaker banquet rewards. This being said, why can’t we seperate alliances into tiers? Maybe have 10+ thronebreakers to qualify for thronebreaker level, 10+ paragon to qualify for paragon tier etc. just seems it’d be more fair. 99.999% of paragons will benefit more from spending buying 1-2 black Panther treasures during cyber week than from spending $500 on these crystals with this rewards system. There’s absolutely no incentive for me to waste my units on these crystals. I have to spend 7,200 units, over $200 worth of units before I get ANYTHING that I care about? That being a SINGLE T6B and T3A? How does any of this structurally make sense? If we could be separated into tiers at least via alliances, we could at least look forward to working as a team so we all progress, instead we can spend hundreds and not even be able to take a 6* to R4.

why make it that complicated? They should just make it based on your progression not based on the people in your alliance. You can be UC in an ally with 10+ paragons but they don't deserve paragon rewards

I get that and I agree but it’s pretty obvious they don’t want to give paragons that much rewards accross the board on these events. So I’m saying if they won’t give us our own solo progression rewards why not at least give us tiered alliances if their idea on this event is “check this out proven players you can get paragon level rewards too”

Because all other things being equal, they try to make alliance-based rewards be the same across the alliance whenever possible, because the whole point of having alliances at all is to promote local harmony, to create a sense of attachment and camaraderie between a small group of players in a game that otherwise has so many players there's no real way to feel attached to them all. There's a cost to having one guy get way more rewards or way less rewards than everyone else, and for events like the banquet there's a sense that this isn't worth it, for what the intent of the event is.

Every time someone says "why can't the AW MVP get bonus rewards" this is the reason why. Any benefit the game would get from having such a reward would be counterbalanced by the harm such a reward would cause among alliances. That's why even though different battlegroups now get individual map rewards in AQ, everyone shares equally in AQ alliance milestones and rank rewards. The devs could make the alliance milestones progression tiered, and they might one day - there are good reasons to consider doing so. But there isn't nothing on the other side, there are also good reasons to not do it, and its up to the devs to decide which way they want to make that trade.

Although to be fair, they did manage to make AQ rewards depend on progression, while also making them the same for everyone - The glory store. Everyone gets the same amount of glory, but higher progression gets you better value for your glory.
