New Loyalty Rewards for Dummies

I'm confused about the new Loyalty payout system.

The first war of the offseason ended and I was surprised to find I had earned over 200k Loyalty, far more Loyalty than I was use to receiving. Assuming this was a bug, I went to the forums and read about the new Loyalty rewards system. Over the last few seasons, I've spent more Loyalty on potions than I have earned, unfortunately, so I was very excited about this change.

The second offseason war ended, and I was excited to see the Loyalty roll in. I was disappointed to see that the payout I received was very similar to what I have been receiving over the last few seasons. Is it because we lost? Did we not explore 100%? What am I missing?

The third offseason war just ended with the same result as the second war, and I can't figure out why that first war was different. I'm assuming now that there was, indeed, some sort of bug somewhere. Can someone tell me what I'm missing? Are the new Loyalty rewards suppose to start with the next season, or something?

    War 1 loyalty was bugged. War 2/3 loyalty is what you'd expect to get normally

    In addition to getting loyalty for participating in the war, you also get loyalty per fight that you win in your BG, and another bonus if you win the war.



    My alliance is in Tier 4 (top 3%). Just for participating (placing defenders and/or joining attack), we get 6750 loyalty every war. Then each member gets 1350 bonus loyalty for each fight they win, for a maximum of 10 fights. Finally, the winning alliance gets a 50k loyalty victory bonus (as well as some 5*, 6*, and 7* shards).

    So assuming we win the war and I take the maximum 10 fights in a BG, I can get as much as 70,250 loyalty every war.

    Participation: 6750 loyalty
    Per Fight: 1350 loyalty x 10 fights = 13500 loyalty
    Victory Bonus: 50000 loyalty

    The amount given the last 2 wars was also bugged. I didn't even join attack phase and still got loyalty 🤣

    It should hopefully be fixed next war
