Tiered Story Progression

I don’t understand why story progression is high tier difficulty pass a certain point…I really enjoy the game but where I’m at now…progress seems more like work than fun…why would want to spend my hard earned money on something else that feels like a job???? There should be tiered story progression…im perfectly fine spending but what’s the point in spending if I can no longer progress…and y’all wonder why bots and scams are so successful…yall give people who don’t have the skills or time to invest no other choice…im sure this will go unnoticed but I figured I’d at least say my piece before I say goodbye to the contest for good!

    I’m not asking for help…I want to enjoy the game again but at my skill level I can’t progress further unless I’m willing spend ungodly amounts on units for revives for fights that can be 20 mins or more…that ridiculous…not everyone is interested in doing all that

    Maybe just improve your skills then like every other player in this game

    If it was that simple I would…but what’s the point when you got Elite level players saving up 10 plus revives to get through a fight! I remember when that’s all you needed to get through a quest now you need that many or more to get thru a fight

    This sounds like the hallmark of a skill gap. Spending money gets you a banging roster, but time spent with the game is what teaches you what to do with the roster. I'll never begrudge the whales for what they've got–the good players still need to put in the work.

    Y’all think just cuz yall did it then everyone can…or wants too spend all that time on long repetitive fights…that’s why I said tiered progression there is a certain level of difficulty I enjoy and anything beyond that is tedious to me…I play for fun…I’m not out to be the best…that’s why I’ve stayed cavalier so long cuz I enjoyed it…but now to progress I have to do content I won’t enjoy because the difficulty and amount of time Id have to invest…like I said I play for fun…anything more than that and id expect some ROI

    There's tier progression. You're currently cav. You want higher tier? Do the requirement.

    I clearly said story progression…I’m fine being cavalier…I want to progress in the story

    I don’t think just because I can do something everyone else, or even anyone else can. But I’ve seen people of all skill levels continue to progress in MCOC. I’ve seen people stuck in Act 4 learn to become Thronebreaker with practice and experience.

    Maybe that’s not you. Maybe you don’t want to take the time and effort to learn and practice. That’s fine, but then this is not the game for you. It isn’t about elite skills, most players don’t have that. I don’t have that. And it isn’t about spending lots of money. 95% of the players in this game do not spend a dime. It’s about wanting to get better, and being willing to do what it takes to get there. Some people find it enjoyable to accomplish things that aren’t trivial to accomplish. This game is for them.

    @ChuckiiBabii bro get better.

    What are you expecting to get through story and it not get more difficult? Act 4 is going to be hard than act 3, same for act 5, act 6, 7, 8 and 9 when it drops...

    The whole point is you get better at the game it's really not that hard.

    And btw, I've 100% act 7 and 8 without using revives and barely any potions because I got good you don't need to spam revives at all

    I’m trying to figure out where in story content a player with that account size who is still Cavalier could possibly be stuck and complaining about a twenty minute fight that “elite players” need 10+ revives for. Is this a 6.2.6 Champion post? Is that what this is?

    I assume you're not exploring acts before moving on to the next. I believe that's probably what you're missing.
