    Emma and Hulkbuster were who I primarily used. Just be careful with Hulkbuster's stun on Sp1 if you already have the stun punishments maxed

    As i have told if you can't dex all special hits, block all except the last one and punish that, that's the easiest way. It took me some time to figure it out as well.

    There are many different solutions to this, you don't need to have a single mutant on the team.

    Took Knull path with ascended R5 Doom, Fury and Angela. R4 Void and Herc. Replaced Void with 7R1 Odin before Glykhan, for Angela pre-fight and synergy.

    Angela and Doom did all the work, NF for phase 4, killing a 200 sig ascended R5 NF in 16 seconds is a lot, even for Glykhan.

    For Glykhan:
    1. You need mutants with prowess, i recommend Bishop, Both Storm and Emma. I used Storm Pyramid X as i didn't have OG.
    2. Domino also works. She can fail root in phase 3 due to AA reduction at times which is helpful. It happened for me 40% of times with the 3 path attempts.

    4. As per Jason Voorhees we need to keep it simple, it's an easy boss. And they are right. Ignore all judgement icons. In phase 1 and phase 2, just dex specials and punish it with heavy, stun, special chains. For special 1 rush in after kickback and For sp2 rush in after Axe throw. That's it. You will not have any issues dexing specials and heavies in both phase. Once you have practice, these phases will go smooth.
    5. In phase 3, you can go in with good health, don't be shy to block special hits and dex and punish only the last special hit, that's enough. Degen won't do much damage and your champ will do a lot damage.
    6. In phase 1, build till sp1 of Glykhan's power and dex & punish specials and heavies. You can build till sp2 as well and do same, no issues. In phase 2 you need to build till sp2 of Glykhan's power only and he chooses a special randomly. Now continue dexing and punishing either. For phase 3 you can build till sp1 preferably. Glykhan roots you on specials. To make it easier follow point 5.
    7. All 3 paths don't make any visible changes to fight. It's as simple as dex and punish special specials and heavies every time.
    8. For last 1%, you need to be a mixture of agressive and passive, you don't want the rooted heavies when completely passive. Engage Glykhan in 2nd half of indestructible timer with relics and combos. In this phase take only 1-2 specials from Glykhan. Ideally 1 to start the indestructible and one just after it ends. This phase needs a bit luck but you will do it eventually.

    Overall it's an easy and fun boss. He fits in accordance to rest of Act 8 bosses and Kudos to kabam for making him fun. It's great that none of the minion bosses or paths were tough as well and good that they didn't introduce any new recent defenders in 8.4.

    Domino is not good, she will sometimes trigger stun with basic attacks and that can cost you a lot of health
    Also Deathless Guillotine is a good option, she has good crit damage and her when you trigger her regen on specials you will get back a lot of health

    I have practically used her in all 3 paths and didn't have any issues. Stuns happened very rarely and didn't cost me. You can easily stop combos incase it happens. She can has high damage on specials and can fail root at times which is very helpful. So give her a try, she will work well.

    And how did the root fail? Isn’t the boss immune to ability accuracy reduction? Or is it bugged?

    Might be bugged, don't know. I was also curious first time it happened. Whenever the red unlucky icons happens above Glykhan, his specials don't root which helped me a lot.
    Is your Domino awakened? Mine is, perhaps that's the difference.
    Mine isn't awakened but that doesn't matter, the awakened ability has nothing to do with it. You just got lucky if you didn't do the stun punishment. Because it also happened to me 4 or 5 times when using her.

    If yo ualready have 3 stun punishments done and domino's perfect stun happens then Glykhan will get an evade charge and evade you + punish you which loses you health/kills you. You probably got lucky that it didn't happen or didn't cost you.
    Now we have a domino solo video. So it's not about being lucky. She simple works. You can see in this video that none of the stun punish the player. Also as i told in my tip, don't care about punishment icons.

    Tips: Basically anyone will work, except:
    · Champs with indestructible or immortal, for obvious reasons
    · Champs with very frequent stun in their attacks, like gwenpool. They'll trigger his counterattack if you get more than 3 stun punishments. They are fine to use in third phase, howeverm
    · Champs without a striker won't be as good, especially in the third phase because they can't fully reset Glykhan's punishments.
    Champs that will work especially well:
    · Power drain champs - they can allow him into to use his special one in his second phase if he is drained while at special 2
    · Regen champs - you'll probably get hit at some point, and there is no overarching heal block.

    Actually, in this case, it's intentional. The punishment you get for intercepting him reduces the ability accuracy of the relic stun window. If you look closely, while the relic is striking, you will actually see "relic opening failed" or something like that to indicate that glykhan will not be stunned when the relic is completed.

    If you save a stun, you can combo into heavy and then drop your special. She has surprising durability for taking blocked hits, and that makes it fairly easy to build your evade back up before he drops a special.

    Is she as fast as some of the nukes? No. But she allows you to play safe and predictable. If you can build prowess, the damage is more than respectable.

    But that’s a nice thing about Glykhan—he doesn’t require one or two specific champs. It’s a good design.

    Why such an awful end of fight?!
    I have lost more than 20 revives on the 1% part… Much more than the other parts. And I still can’t finish him.
    For the other bosses, the player can finish by using revives. But for Glykhan, no, just a matter of luck.

    Any tips would be greatly appreciated…
    I use Doom, Silk, Hercules and Corvus.

    Except that, the 8.4 with its 3 ways was enjoyable.

    Honestly there isn’t much to cheese that last bit of health; you need to damage him, then not get hit until the indestructible falls off, then damage him again. if you do launch a damaging combo right before the indestructible expires you can kill him with the hits that land after, and he doesn’t instant-kill once the timer runs out so you can take a few more risks if you have some health then; it really is a matter of skill and timing similar to 7.3 Kang’s final segment though.

    I tried him for the first time and same experience.. the last 1% is brutal. He should dies after the indescribable falls off or atleast when and if an attackers dies restart with Indestructible.. u have to first get that Indestructible back then again wait for it fall and again wait for his rotations.. making it the hardest and most brutal
