    You decide whoever works best for you and your account, and who you like to use. If you've gotten this far in the game, you should know who to rank up.

    Go for Hercules. For others you can wait. My first R5 ascended was Hercules. You will not regret this.

    I just don’t like Herc. And they’re designing content around him now. Would rather take up someone who can help me in BGs and AW

    I r4 my Herc, almost ascended him, and now he just collects dust, I will use anyone but him. Onslaught is more fun to use

    I didn't vote because I don't have much experience with the other champs, but I agree you should pick someone other than Herc.

    I actually think he's fun to use, and I enjoy playing with him when it makes sense. But he's really not that good on D, and I think there are plenty of better offensive options as long as you're not trying to cheese fights with immortality. I have him in my battlegrounds deck, and honestly, I find myself drafting him less and less because he's not that fast, and he depends on risky intercepts for good damage.

    So I don't actually know what the compelling reason would be to rank him up nowadays.

    Everyone should have a maxed a herc.......I did onslaught yesterday and yes he’s great but you should just always invest in herc before anyone else imo

    Sometimes it's fun to Herc Up, Wreck Everyone & Leave.

    How many CCP and YouTubers don't have him ascended? Using Hercules doesn't automatically mean you suck and there's no reason you can't be good at the game and use him still on some Overkill is A-OK mentality. I fully endorse putting laser wings and flame decals on tigers.

    If people aren't using Psycho-Man, Ronin, or Sentry for everything, they should calm down.

    When's the last time you saw those same ccp members and ccs making videos on Herc? Do they even have him in their BGs decks? Do they use him in AW all the time?

    The questions needs to be: What content are you looking to do next, and will any of these rankups directly aid you in that? Are you exploring Act 8? Necropolis? Focussing more on Alliance War? Battlegrounds?

    Herc's the default, sure. There's a lot he can do, Incursions is a big one, general questing is another. But is that something you'll need him for?

    Y’all saying herc takes the fun out of the game are stupid. There’s like 40% of the game where he can’t cheese thru. And sometimes there’s nothing more fun than absolutely destroying content with herc. And wth you mean by crutches? I literally have 8 r5s and An r3 7* og spidey and silk lmao. Just cuz you have an r5 herc doesn’t make you anything less lol

    I have cbones and colossus at r5 so it’s not like I rank mainstream champs 100% of the time. Herc is just an awesome champ and one of if not the best r5 ascension candidates!

    He takes the fun out of the game for me because he makes almost any fight too easy. If that doesn't make the game boring and stale for you well then good for you, that's not the case for a lot of us. Anything is more fun than destroying content with Herc with zero effort.

    You can rank up ascend and use whoever you want. I only replied to you cause you said "everyone should have a maxed Herc". No, I don't need one and neither do other players lol speak for yourself.

    That would (and has) been limited to nerfing immortality. Part of what makes him the best in the game is that a Herc minus immortality would still be at worst tied for the best champ in the game. He's got too many tools that are op useful. If they go for nerfing other aspects of his kit, they'll end up nerfing most of the champs in the game.
