    Yep... that's global alright.

    Unfortunately, dumb kids trying to be edgy is a common theme in most service-game live chats.
    The best you can do is report/block the offending accounts and hope for the best.

    I would say the complete opposite. In every medium they control, it's delt with fairly swiftly.

    I agree that this kind of bigotry has no place in the game or community, but the forums are absolutely not the place to report this behavior. Calling out other players is not allowed here.

    There's 4 things you can do:
    - Report in-game
    - Block them
    - Disable global chat
    - Send screenshots of their messages to Kabam Support

    I highly recommend doing all of these, but especially the 4th one. You're able to send in reports of inappropriate chat through support and they will investigate and mute the account from chatting or straight up ban them, if it's bad enough.

    Edit: also, I believe the chat mutes work the same way bans can/do - in that they escalate over time, until it's permanent, so it may take multiple reports until they're gone for good. But when they're chat muted, that's it. It can't be undone.

    I hate when my global chat gets enabled automatically. I login, and I am instantly angered that I had to even see just a few messages thrown around. I wish it would stay disabled and be done, but noo every so often just turns itself back on.

    I feel the same way about YouTube comments, I wish I could disable them in a way I can’t see them and get distracted by the bs that gets thrown around

    Why you letting people live rent free in your mind! Ban/block them so you don't have to see their garbage and move on. You just made them a bigger star than they needed to be. Everyone so sensitive nowadays.

    Wow. I can relate. i don't tend to read global, but I'm an spaniard gay player and most of spanish speaking players, probably teens from latin american country where feminism o lgtbiq+ rights are still in early stages make comments absolutely disgraceful. Not only against women or lgtbiq+ community, but also disabled people or any other condition you can imagine. Even in my alliance I have heard homophobic comments, which I ignore just to prevent my mental health, giving the fact that ICCL about people I don't know in real life. In any case, it's sad and it shouldn't happen. I don't think the solution should be turn off the chat, it's like killing a fly with bombs (spanish expresssion I don't know if I can translate). But it it exists it should have some kind of moderation.
