An Officer's Plea to Kabam

Hey all,

My alliance mate made a video breaking down the issues with the current timeline when it comes to alliance turnover, and makes a request that it be delayed to help alleviate the issues.

Basically the timeline that Kabam has set means that War Season 50 Kickoff is the same day as BGs Season Ends and happens during Raids week, meaning for nobody to lose out on rewards, the soonest we could bring in new members is 3/12 Wars in.

However, if the season began on June 19th, that would immediately resolve all the issues, and that's what we're asking Kabam to do.

I'd appreciate if you could help this gain traction as this does have some pretty big impacts.

Thank you.

seasons and off-seasons are all various lengths, so there will always be some rewards missed out on if you switch alliances, especially with the way AQ is run nowadays. just the trade-off you have to weigh if you want to switch alliances

This is more than the average turnover though.

BGs Alliance Rewards got updated this past season which means they're more valuable to accounts than ever. Additionally, Raids week is higher rewards than normal weeks of AQ.

If it were a typical AQ week I genuinely wouldn't care, but since BOTH BGs and Raids overlap it's enough for my alliance to reach out with the request. That's a lot of rewards for someone to lose out on.

Kabam isn't gonna change start/end dates just so more people can get the maximum rewards possible anymore. They have very clearly stated many numerous times, you gotta pick and choose what rewards are most important to you at the time and decide what you wanna go for.

Most people who've left their alliance either exited strategically so they could benefit from their choice of rewards before leaving, or they didn't care about the rewards at all and just bounced...

The onus is on the individual player...

People could have left earlier this week and not miss anything. You wouldn't miss AQ rewards, AW is in offseason, and BGs has more than a week left so you can grab those rewards too

Yep. Mentioned that to someone else and they wanted to stick around and get BG rewards from their old alliance and not new alliance. I don’t get it, but they’ll need to miss out on something then.

I feel your pain. I let go of a player just yesterday to dodge this very situation.
