The game experienced a brief connectivity issue this morning. The team promptly fixed the issue and things are back to normal, thank you to everyone who passed along reports!

Which path is A?

The instructions for this month's side quest say (paraphrasing), "pick path A or B, each gives different rewards."

How do I tell which path is A and which is B? I've been doing some Wednesday drinking, so the answer might be obvious. But not to me.

A comes before B. Therefore A is the left and B is the right

True. But let’s say I’m standing on the start node facing the path to Juggs. ‘Path B’ is now Path A by the way my eyes are looking left to right.

Let’s also not forget the jacked up order AW mini islands are placed before boss island.

This implies that you are holding your phone upside down for some reason and have the auto rotate setting turned off

Left when I'm looking at this map as me? Or left from the perspective of my champs moving down the map towards the boss?

Once you enter the quest, the rewards show on the path itself.

I guess that's a fair point. And in this case none of the nodes are awful. But in general I'd expect to be able to know what's on a path and and pick an appropriate team for that specific path before joining a quest with an entry cost.

From what I think the announcement implied, fighting the boss while with harder Node Buff Links to it still up, would reward you with the greater rewards.

Taking the path that clears out those harder links (ie, making boss easier) would result in the lesser rewards.

Not as part of Completion/Explore rewards, but probably from a path chest on it. Which should be able to distinguish between the 2 by # of stars on the chest (or else, direct items shown on a path to pick up, which you'd also be able to see.

And if the map has a criss-cross of paths, then the rewards are probably split amongst all 4 segments. But same principle applies. Which set of links do you want to take out.

Let's lesser players still be able to complete same map, but just doing the easier path.

The path shows you exactly what's on that path as a reward. No chests. Also none of the nodes are hard and the final juggernaut is easy. It's literally pick what reward you value most and move along.
