War issues

My alliance has had many issues in the past few weeks:
Joining war (endless loading screen that never updates).
Adding defense to a map (I might have missed something, but we're only able to add to 1 difficulty, assuming we can even get to the screen to place).
Our defense getting deleted every war, despite not changing the settings to delete every war.
I personally didn't see any in-game announcements about these changes and we definitely lost our first war in the season over this. Is there a discussion in these forums I'm missing? Because I'm sure we're not the only alliance facing these issues.

The biggest issue is that people can't even join war, but my concern is that nobody is aware of these issues.

Please let me know if there's a current discussion going on about this or if we as an alliance are missing something.

    With the recent additions to the War Settings options for this season, I’ll bet that someone did indeed change your Alliance's War Settings.

    If you only have the option to place in 1 Defense Map (not also the +/- Tier Maps), probably means that new setting for “AUTO Defense Placement” was turned on (which is separate from the Auto-Enlist and persistent placement in general).
    (Allows game to carry over the same Tier Map Defense into whatever other Tiers you move up or down into during the season, without having to have people place in all 3 maps, and place again as you keep moving up).

    If your Defense is getting cleared out, then probably means that new setting for AUTO-CLEAR has been turned on.
    (Allows teams that shuffle players into say just 2 BG's to be able to have people rotate into them without needing previous war people to have to remove themselves first (which officers could not do previously).

    As to LONG Loading Time to get into AW Screens, been happening for couple months. Could be slow to get into them, and sometimes feels like you should just close/reopen game if you’re not letting it wait long enough

    Thank you for the reply! That helps clear some of it up. The only thing not covered was that some members simply can't join AW at all, I had an instance where I waited over a half hour just to get into the main war screen.

    Anywho, appreciate the response!
