BG points farming

Points farming is a thing in BG, it has been for a while. For those out of the loop, top players basically camp out near the top of victory track and farm easy wins by intentionally losing a certain number of matches.

Now I've had a brilliant idea!

Introduce a points multiplier system, similar to the one for AW tiers in gladiators circuit.

This way players will be encouraged to reach GC early and take advantage of that point multiplier.

Just because you lost to a top account in Victory Track does not mean people are camping. I’m a Valiant myself but I have no incentive to get into the GC anytime soon. It’s because how Kabam introduced the BG objective with the Magnetron crystal, so most of us are probably only playing a few times every 2-3 days in order to hit the objectives

Actually it's not a too bad idea it would solve problems for the lower progression accounts.

The first week of gladiator circuit points are x1,4
second week points are x1,3
third week points are 1x1
Last week are normal points.

It could work, but then how fair would it be for the Vaillant who can't really play the first week... I think it is worth a try tho.

Multiplayer doesn't mean base farming points what we have currently changes,
Think of it as bonus points to be earned each win in GC.
Current points will remain as it is in victory track.

Look at it this way, why should people who don’t want to progress further get the same level of rewards as people who do put in the effort

GC is supposed to be hard, and it should be more rewarding because of that

We're not even a week into BG's yet. Like someone else said, some people only play to get their objectives complete every 3 days. They aren't BG grinders, so getting to GC isn't a priority. Adding a point multiplier is all well and good, but it's not going to solve the issue you guys are describing.

With the addition of the CMM crystals, the Vision piece, the additional 7* and Titan shards, accounts that don't touch BG's are playing this season. It'll sort itself out at some point. No matter what they do, you're bound to come up against a higher progression level at some point. It's the reason they put the 2/1 medal system so losing a match isn't as punishing.

I'm Valiant, barely play BGs anymore, and I'm 3-15 since reaching Gold 1, losing to other Valiant and ridiculously strong Paragon players...

You do realize under the current system, people who play and progress through the GC get more than people who don’t? You’re not stating anything new

Kinda sounds like you just wanna farm off small accounts... whether it's for solo objective or just the 3 wins every two days you're still farming.

There should be NO valiants not pushing into GC, thats literally the entire point the top players like us beat the little players into GC and that gives them a chance to get in themselves. You sat playing every other day and not bothering to actually get into GC is just selfish... don't get me wrong if you're not wkilled enough it's a different question but whether your in GC facing other valaints or VT getting wooped by TB it wouldn't make a difference u suppose

Well yes, but the current reward system isn't enough. If it was, then more players would push to GC instead of sitting in VT until the end of the season

You have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about if you’re implying that simply playing a few times every few days is considered “farming”. If you don’t know what farming is, please stop using it.

I’ve said this before.. the solo event is a little broken. It really shouldn’t give lower level accounts access to 7-stars if they are willing to grind for two months. More so, it shouldn’t punish players that move up to GC early. I thing a GC loss should equal the same points as a VT win. I don’t think there are a lot of players point farming, but I do think they’re not properly motivated to push early to better stratify the VT.

If players got more points for losing a fight in the GC than winning 1 fight in VT, I think points farming would disappear.

I also think the "match making" frustration of some players had become significantly lower as well.

How do u know someone is farming ?? Have u matched them multiple times ?? Or u are just guessing and throwing arrow blindly 😂 because u are facing big account

Why do people who don't progress in THE GAME, complain and get the same rewards.
So your solution to being treated like a carrot in VT in BGs is the same solution for not being the carrot..

Solo milestone/alliance milestone points should be twice in gc.

Also buff gc ranked rewards.

He thinks they pick on him, lose.a few matches and come back to pick on him... Which happens it was a thing before when they changed the milestones for a special event.

This is not the season people will be camping out, especially early on. There are a lot of matches needed to get to the GC, and anyone who camps too low, too long might find themselves missing a bunch of titan shards and deathless piece.

Another season another wave of crying topics about Bg’s. If your roster and skill cant handle the lvl of competition then those rewards arent for u. Its simple get better and work on your roster. You will not get the same rewards as skilled players with big rosters
