How do ppl type a blank text box in the in-game chat?

I've been playing this game for 8+ years and I still don't know. I've asked ppl who do it and they keep gatekeeping the answer and it's bugging me.

Someone here gotta know, let me in on the sauce. I love to offer nothing of value in chat, it's literally the perfect fit for me.

    Why does it need to be blank though.
    Are you wanting to SPAM blank lines over and over in Global or something ? (prepare for Chat Ban)

    Just a “period” would work, say if you want to scroll off obsolete messages in Ally Chat if your Ally barely uses their game chat. (Like after the Promo Code expires later today, so people still don’t see it on main visible 2 lines, after it's no longer valid anymore)

    \n is a newline character, so that's all you need for a blank message or to put your message on separate lines.
