This GC node is one of the worst we’ve ever had.

That’s it, that’s all. Never bring it back again please, thanks.

It’s a total garbage node that rips competitiveness from the game. Your reward for trudging through a lengthy VC season is to have your rank ups and effort mean zip in the GC meta.
Even a perfect match up can end bad, I find that funny and fun
Matches that I should be winning easily, all of a sudden go to the opponent- simply due to pure RNG.
In a more casual gamemode? Sure, that could be fun. In the gladiator circuit, aka one of the only truly competitive game modes in the game? No.
Nodes like this do not belong in the GC.
You either like it, or you don't!! Or you think if we make enough complaints they will change the meta??
2) you have people entering GC at different times - so they will experience the fiasco at different times.
You want them to necro threads pages back? Or their complaints and thoughts don’t matter since they were in GC when the node flipped?
Also, I’ve been in the GC for quite a while now. I post about 9-10 in a row, simply due to the fact that I got the bad side of the dice roll. Like I replied to someone else earlier, this mode doesn’t belong in a competitive based mode.
In the victory track though? Sure. Why not.

But you’ve already commented in there, so you already know it's there.
Especially not when the node is like this.
I have many quantum+ friends of mine, that are calling it quits once they’ve gotten that high up- mind you these are the same friends that typically get mysterium or celestial.
I feel like that alone speaks for itself.
Unblockable is tolerable with the right defender, but Crush is a nightmare since there is no counter.
I "fought" a defender that had crush buff/crush debuff on me as soon as "FIGHT" disappeared. I tried to attack, but had a dropped input. Go figure. The next hit registered but got me parried, and beat into oblivion by the defender.
I just stared at the screen, then laid my phone down......SOFTLY.
Complaining about the match results being random is one thing. Complaining that a random node is causing you to lose constantly is probably misplaced frustration.
Power lock, suppression or power drain should have been part of the node
What you just mentioned in that last part about “RNG” is exactly why I hated this node. Even if I played the fight perfectly, all it would take would be one bad dice roll- and I lose the match. A node like that, has no place in a competitive mode. The better player should always win, that’s the whole point of competition. Luck shouldn’t win or lose someone a match.
