How has the new system been treating u guys?
For me quite terribly
This were the fight that i had in these two days 99% of them outscale me so much its not even funny i get that we need a challange .but making it this unfair is too much i just reached Thornbreaker (yayπ«‘)
But i get matched up with valients paragons and legends with most of them having full r5 6* decks(i still dont have any r5)
And its starting to get really frustrating
I mean even if we ignore that there been some bugs popping up like matching auto quiting than get randomly teleported back to the menu after which like 20 seconds u get transported to the bg to continue your match but enemys health has restarted to 100% while your is whatever u had when u left

Perhaps improve your heroes, skills and meta before jumping on "Why game hard?"
If you're new TB then just know that rewards are SAME for everyone so you will get SAME competition.
Maybe ask Kabam to reduce rewards if you want to reach Vibranium with "fair" fights π
If you can't beat them, you are where you belong
Stop saying it's based on the amount of money someone has spent, I'm valiant, late game player and spent 0 total. I just put more time and efforts, that is all.
I agree with you on one part. Availability to lower progression title. It shouldn't be a thing. I understand why Kabam allowed it, giving all players a taste of the game mode. And grabbing some rewards, not all, along the way. It's a nice thing. But looking at players behavior and constant complaining I wouldn't be surprised if they lock the game mode soon enough to paragon and above only.
So grab the wins and rewards you can now
Be happy you got where you are, spend some time ranking up some key champs ready for next season.
Thereβs nothing wrong with the matchmaking, youβre now punching in the weight class above and skill will only take you so far. There are no more accounts like yours to beat in your BG bracket.
And to answer your actual question, Iβm in Vib 3 and for ref Iβve all 6r5a and 7r2 with 4 7r3, Iβm facing accounts with 10 7r3, it can be a slog at times but I know who I need to rank and which counters I need to focus on. Iβve lost 6 in a row in this bracket so Iβll wait a day or two until these better accounts (and players, Iβm not good!) move through and Iβll have another pop.
Worked last season and the season before, I usually finish somewhere in Gamma. The main difference between me and the higher ranked players isnβt the account, theyβre just much better at the game and Iβm outclassed, both tactically in the selection process and the actual gameplay.
The game rolls in seasons for this reason, regroup and come back stronger. Good luck to you, son.
If you're only a Thronebreaker, which is now 2 progressions behind, why should you be in here expecting to get the same rewards that a Paragon or Valiant player can get? Whether they've spent money or not, they're further progressed in the game and therefore should have access to better rewards. The beautiful thing about battlegrounds though is that EVERY player Uncollected and up has access to the same rewards (aside from the BG store changing with progression), which is unlike every other piece of content that TB and lower players complain about being locked out of.
The problem of course is that with equal access to rewards, that also has to mean equal access to the competition. You don't get an easy ride to the top because you think the current state is "unfair". Do you really think you deserve to get the top rewards if you can't beat the top players? You're not entitled to those rewards, but you're entitled to a chance to get them, which Kabam has provided. I fully understand that you think you aren't asking for an "easy" way to the rewards, and I get the frustration of feeling like your only option is to constantly lose, but if you think current matchmaking is unfair than an easy path to the rewards is exactly what you're asking for.
There's a cap. Eventually you hit the top of what you can achieve, which falls in line with every other content form in the game. Not everyone can do TB difficulty in EQ, so they settle for Cav which results in less rewards, but they're able to get all the rewards that their roster, aligned with their skill, allows them get. Same goes for BG. Eventually there are rewards out of reach because you simply don't have the roster and/or skill to continue to compete. The only other option, if the end-all-be-all is whatever version of fair matchmaking that is subjective to the player, would be lower tier BGs with lesser rewards for lower accounts. The difference would be that you will never have access to higher rewards, whereas in the current state you can hold onto some glimmer of hope for progressing further.
You also have the option of waiting further into the season as the larger accounts move up to GC and the lower accounts move up to where you are.
Another thing to note. The ceiling for top players moves super slowly. Eventually they cap out and are stuck waiting for significant change. Your roster gets to improve far more frequently and over time you will close that gap much faster than they can grow it.
1. if ur highest champs are r3, then r4 should not scare u as much as u might think they are.
2. a roster consisting mostly of r2s and 5*r5s can easily take on rosters who have multiple rank 3s and rank 4s, r5 6* will be where u might face major issues, but unless r5 6*, 7* r1, 6*r4,r3 is what u shud try fighting more often as thts the highest ur roster can take based on the r3 cgr being ur highest ranked champ.
3.due to lucky crystal rng and spending in sales, some ppl at lower progression lvls might have more 7* ( as u said u saw a tb with 7 7*) but a 7* r1 is nearly the same as a r4 6*, so treat them as r4s and then ull see tht most of the photos tht u showed consisted of mainly r4 and r3 6* and below. yes there were few with a couple of r5 but lets just say those were actual tough ones. But except tht , most of the rosters shudnt be a tough match considering u want to reach plat 3 and above.
In conclusion, a deck full of 6* r3,r4 and 7* r1 is something tht should be a normal fight for u as tht will help u climb higher in bgs . And as ur a tb now (congrats on defeating gm), u will start to see tht u are able to r2,r3 6* so fast tht by the next bgs season the above decks u complained about will be the ones tht u will consider easy. Its just about growing rosters and analysing whats the highest rank champs u can defeat and then keep improving tht. Next time try taking one of those fights u showed us as higher lvl rosters, getting a good draft and playing well might give u a win. Its good to defeat a similar roster player, but its very morale boosting and satisfying too defeat a player with a bigger roster.
You made the same point last season when everyone was all dumped together back in Bronze level.
Same thing.
And this season, if you have climbed through Gold into Platinum (with a low roster, if you think some of those matchups are bad, which even those are actually on the lower side also).
Well keep in mind that any players from last season that ended up just at top of Diamond (for the lower level of 7* shards, etc (the lower of the major reward points).
They would be starting out only in Platinum this season.
So in Platinum, you'll be facing a lot of semi-strong rosters, but weβre quite strong enough to go thru into G.C.
And they may not be as active this season (with lesser rewards), so a lot of them just playing casually are still in Platinum (for you to match against).
Write a recipe for scrambled eggs.
?
Yo, check it, I'm 'bout to drop some knowledge,
On how to make some eggs, soft, fluffy, or college.
First, you gotta crack those shells,
Into a bowl, no need for bells.
Beat 'em up, till they're light and frothy,
A pinch of salt, a dash of lothy.
Grab that pan, put it on the heat,
Butter or oil, makes the eggs so sweet.
Medium heat, that's the key,
Pour in the eggs, let 'em be.
Scramble, scramble, with a fork,
Don't overcook, that's a yolk.
A little cheese, maybe some green,
Serve it up, a breakfast queen.
So next time you're hungry, don't you fret,
Follow this recipe, you won't regret.
Yes, there's a couple R4s in there, but the bulk of that account's deck is R2s, and there's even some 5* champs and an R1 in there, because that's literally all that account can muster in BG.
Let's take a look at some of these megawhales you were getting matched against. I'm going to glance around and eye check some of these. Deity~20 is a Cav player with 987k rating and 12k prestige that according to your screencap just has a couple of champs above R3 and a lot of 5* champs in their deck. You actually outrate him at 1M rating and 13k prestige (specifically, 12837 champion prestige vs 12094). You also have a couple of 7* R1s in your profile yourself, Shang Chi and Deathstrike, both reasonable BG champs in the current meta at lower VT tiers. That looks to me like a relatively fair fight.
MVF 2024 is also a Cav account with 742k rating and 12.3k prestige. You say you're worried about R4 Bullseye and Photon, but your screenshot suggests you were about to ban his 7* Warlock and Gambit. If you're worried about opponents with difficult defenders, why are you banning their attackers, and leaving them with Bullseye, Photon, Onslaught, and Destroyer? This also looks like a fair fight, but you lost in the ban phase.
Dark Tora is also a Cav, and seems to not have an overpowering deck for that tier. X HellDark X is another Cav that actually has 4* champs in deck. Ditto Mikizzzle. If you're claiming these accounts were too strong for you because match making is all about "the amount of money a person has spent" then good luck with that.
Honestly, I don't see the problem here. That seems to be a reasonable spread of opponents, some possibly stronger than you, and others that no way would I say were too strong for a TB player in Gold in mid season.
