reunion event double up issue

I did not buy the dubble up offer, clicked the claim button on the home screen, went to my crystals and saw this.

    It is OK to open the extra crystals.
    They will fix it so that Free ones will not be getting extra anymore.
    And will be compensating people who bought the Double-Up with an extra one for every extra (bugged) one they had gotten.

    Or you can read the final update they made later on to that same thread (I know, that initially was back when they FIRST responded in there, before they actually fixed it. So maybe you had just read the earlier reply, not their final reply)

    You’ll get back whatever you had already (mistakenly) been allowed to claim. Even though they took them away (when the potential crystal itself was removed for those that are f2p) you’ll get them back. Either sometime along the way, or as a last result it might not be until the end of the 2 weeks is up). However many you had initially claimed of these “double up” ones.

    So why is it that some people are still able to claim the extra crystal just because they didn’t open any yet? I ended up getting an extra crystal twice but after that it went away, but I’ve seen other people at this point still able to claim two without buying the offer, they have like 8 extra crystals which is kind of BS honestly

    nope. peeople who didn't open had them taken away. it happened to me

    i would have a guess anyone who is still claiming the double up crystal and claiming to have not purchased the deal is infact lying and trying to cover up the fact they are a whale.

    Literally just saw a streamer have two sets of 8 crystals on stream, that’s why i posted, I don’t want to call them out, but they opened the crystals on stream as well, so there are people who were able to get extra that other people weren’t able to.

    These crystals are absolute garbage. As a paragon, I would be angry with the drops since the onset. I thought about buying this offer but if you were not valiant, these are absolutely dirt. I have a second account as a cavalier, and it’s pretty much pointless to open the crystals.

    I don’t know why you’re arguing with me, I can get a pic of the crystals from the stream but I really don’t feel like it. The streamer has no reason to lie, the dude is broke and can’t afford to spend $100 bucks on the game. I’m just posting this cause it’s crappy that some got more crystals then others, 7 or 8 extra reunion crystals would be great for me personally so that’s why I’m bringing it up.

    Apologies, I was indeed mislead and got grumpy too quick, they indeed did buy the 100 dollar deal. Disregard my other statements I was wrong.
