We need more time we will not finish the target of the event in time

It's just bad designed event with profile pictures as rewards and final reward being "80% chance to pull 6* in 2024"
YIKES
Now with 782
But ,the community surpassed 500m yesterday.
Maybe we will reach 750m max
If rewards were maybe more 7* shards, few 10% T6CC, T3 T6 catalyst in "selectors" then perhaps community would reach 1 billion mark in 12-15 days.
But Kabam and their kink to bundle cavs with Valaint keeps rising,
I hope Banquet crystals won't be bundled with T2 catalysts like last years. That was horror.
A lot of things should be progression based at this point. I don't even have faith on the next BGs realm event.
It was a terrible experiment overall. Poor planning and poor execution.
There was no incentive for the part of the player base that actually has thousands of crystals to participate in the experiment. The goal should've been closer to half a billion and the rewards should've probably been different depending on acc. progress if they want to avoid giving everybody a guaranteed 7*s/T6 loot.
When you say this was a “terrible experiment” that’s because you’re judging the test on whether it handed you enough free stuff. But Kabam was not testing their ability to hand you free stuff. They were testing the realm event infrastructure and systems and wanted as many players generating as many scoring events as possible. If the crystal cleanse ended today, it would still have generated more data from more players than any live event will.
The second Realm event is going to be the Battlegrounds realm event. There is no way players are going to do 521 million battleground matches during that event.
As to whether there was enough incentive for players to really stress the system, on the very first day we were averaging over 13.5 million crystals opened per hour at our peak opening rate. That’s over 3750 crystals opened per second, It is unlikely we will ever see another realm event capable of generating that much data that quickly, because there are few things the player base can do 3750 times per second besides open crystals. If one day there’s a realm event that scores points for every fight completed on the server, even if the players manage to sustain a one fight every ten seconds speed that would require 37500 players logged into the server simultaneously spamming fights against 2* defenders constantly for hours.
In terms of testing the bandwidth of the realm scoring systems, I cannot think of any way to improve the event in terms of testing the realm systems.
In an earlier post, I expressed that they feel like an in-game survey just to see what kind of time people dedicate to the game, or maybe what sort of popularity the game still has after 10 years of it's existence.
Who knows, the real motive may just be to see the survivability of the game in the future years. I mean, obviously there are loads of content creators out there, just people with normal lives cannot dedicate that kind of time to the game.
Once again, that was not realistic milestones.
If Kabam plans to force openings of crystals after the event, better do it during the event. Because it is obvious the last milestones won’t be reached.
Now a simple event where everyone gets something just for opening crystals they just got holding space comes and it's, o my God they want me to open my hard earned crystals. But when a new character everyone raves about pop goes the crystals.
I watch YouTube videos of folks with 50k plus crystals from 5 years ago that complain about the rewards not being good enough for them. Then sit there in the same stream and say they play for the community.
Then there's everyone who wants to blame kabam saying bad event design, like they sit there and say we only gonna design events based off the people who spend all their money chasing instead of the game community as a whole.
I mean it is called a community event. We could get all of the milestones bout won't because of the hoarders of the asinine crystals that aren't even meta based.
Selfishness
I pray that kabam sticks to their word and pop all those old irrelevant crystals for people, then we all will sit back and laugh at the complaints
For me as a paragon, I would say the units, revives and ascension is the only good thing about this events, tier 2 dust is valuable for me, as I’ll definitely give it to Kate, units are good for Banquet like my brother said, and I’ll probably end up with a 6* in the exalted which is useless to me as I have quite a lot of 6* already.
In conclusion, for lower progression, it’s brilliant, for higher progression the effort doesn’t meet the reward, as lower progressions won’t have nowhere near the amount of crystals higher progression has (correct me if I’m wrong though) so us higher progressions who have plenty of crystals, are basically carrying the lower progressions lol.
Please people who have lots of crystals have realised that the opening of crystals is simply not worth the reward, open thousands of crystals for the community? Have a profile picture of a 4* crystal as a valiant!
A player who spares is more likely someone who scores more points on such an event that a player who opens everything everyday.
Anyway, let’s move forward and be positive: the community will do better on future community events.
I do think they missed on the milestones points tho.
If they force open something, it’s going to be obscure random crystals that are no longer being issued. So if you’re sitting on some EQ crystal from 2017, watch your stash. But they aren’t going to open your thousands of t4cc fragment crystals or solo crystals or arena boosts — or any of the things that are most likely the biggest crystal numbers for an average account.
