Spamming on the right of the screen always allows me to get an easy opening unless they dash back. If they do, I parry them after my first light attack

There’s a couple of exceptions. When I used Spider Ham against the Mole Man SoS and did this, I’d get hit immediately for some reason. Also Onslaught parries me sometimes but it’s rare
Parry first then I realized I can't always rely on Parry in act 5 so I started dashing back and trying my hardest not to parry until I barely do it and isn't used to doing it anymore, which sucks because Archangel is my first 6*. Finally, I adjusted myself to always use light attacks.
Just depends on the situation. In arena I’ll always start with a light to not waste any time. In bgs I’ll parry unless the defender can’t be immediately parried, (onslaught, attuma, photon, etc.) in which case I’ll light attack to save me block damage from baiting a heavy.
Against real player champ = Parry (because otherwise they could Parry you instead)
Against Kabam quest champ = Light (rapid fire tapping, start when they are still finishing their approach, until first one registers and then you can adjust L vs M after that). They don’t have Parry mastery to worry about.

But I was training Herc against Bullseye and parry was a better way against him.
At times I have some fun on Arenas with a perfect timed Heavy as a first hit in the start.
If you press in the exact moment you may have success on this.
I used to do with Wasp 😍
