What champion has benefited the most from becoming a 7*?

We’re not talking about champions who were already released as a 7*, we’re talking about Hulks, Surfer’s, Guardians etc.
I would go for Hyperion, with the dupe he is just a cosmic god and had a resurgence.

Venom
Sassy
Chavez was very underrated when she got buffed. Chavez benefitted from both the buff and her being in the base 7* pool, there not being many options lead the community to try her out and discover hoe useful she is.
And it also goes to show how well kabam thinks when they design these champions kit. Now we know she wasn't this good that's why she got buffed, they did make her a lot better as her damage and sustainability were terrible pre buff.
Kabam sometimes don't obviously think the best with "SOME" champs kits *cough cough* Dani moonstar.
That being said, alot of champs are slow burners and they may not seem like WOW at first but will definitely live to dominate in the future. A few examples include tigra, spider ham, Kate etc. And a few who got a lil push (buff) from kabam, eg massacre, bishop, mantis etc
A few champs who don't get enough clout now that I can see having longevity in the contest are cheeilth, shatra, BRB, stealthy etc
We'll see.
Sasquatch
Domino
Venom
Chavez
I will say that CPR was probably a strong influence as well on her, but probably is more that people don't try champions out themselves and instead just listen to what others say. The predominant YTers I saw said that Chavez was still not great, while also using her incorrectly. Those who used her correctly knew just how good she was. I took her as my first r5 6* prebuff because her double objective run in EoP was my easiest run by far and I really enjoyed using her after that.
The 7* just allowed people to test her out at a much higher level than 6* r1/r2 and many Youtubers and community members have since learned how to use her, and they have shown just how great she is in many different gamemodes. Basically the 7* brought the limelight to people and they're much easier to invest in than a 6*.
IMO I think a lot of people are combining "new as a 7 star" with "got a cool new relic". Guardian is my highest ranked champ, r3 sig 160, but he'd still be super strong as a maxed out 6 star with a hulkbuster relic. The biggest qualifications for "most improved" as a 7 star come down to effectively utilizing base stats and combat power rate, not needing more than sig 20ish, and utilizing stat focus. From this, I would say sasquatch. He only needs sig 20 to become an absolute tank, and his % damage reduction allows his higher 7 star health pool to scale even further. Getting the precision stat focus also increases his crit rating (which is VERY valuable during his s2). Sassy didn't get that much stronger with relics, but just the stat bump and low sig requirement were what made him insane.
Venom benefitted greatly from the CR boost which increases crit chance. He has always been a beast and I have loved him ever since his buff in 2018. Just power curve put him under other cosmic champions until the venom relic came. That relic is a huge boost to his DPS, I love it.

I meant the Chavez buff was relatively new, not Chavez as a champ 😅
