In at 15k titan shards, cmon guys. Btw kabam isn't going to give us all the milestones, they can't set a standard that we will always get all realm milestones
@JLordVileJ Of course, but it’s obvious that the MCOC community has tried their hardest to get the final milestone. Kabam try to make the final milestone accessible whilst also making sure that it’s not easy and quick to obtain. Only after they’ve tested us to see how much points we can get, do they know how hard it truly is to get the last milestone. I’m sure they can see that the community grinded super hard for the final milestone and got close to it. If it were clear to Kabam that all the players didn't grind and assumed that they’d get all the milestones given, we would absolutely not deserve it.
Will all of us that have put in the work/grind to get to 5k points in the realm event, get the remaining Titan Shards? …That would be cool…
If Kabam keeps stepping in and just handing us all the rewards regardless of how much effort the playerbase collectively puts in, eventually no one will bother pushing at all because why bother.

I think that’s a good point for later events but I see what you’re saying. Right now they’re probably testing out what the community can and will do so imo they set the bar pretty high. I don’t think if they close the gap on these early events it’ll have that bad of an effect. Especially if they tweak the goal as they learn more to something that we do end up hitting or get very close to hitting. Like I can see them doing a similar event but lowering the goal to 1.2 / 1.3B (without additional help) then we just push on our own and see what we can do from those points on.

I agree but they kinda did it to themselves with these first couple realm events. They were asking way too much and discouraged too many players imo
Bottom Line??? Kabam knows 100% more than anybody who plays the game/looks at stats what the “player base” has done/ will do (meta they have everything everyone has ever done!!!!!!). 2 events, and both failed (even with them greatly increasing expectations from ALL!!!!)
They should def 100% make all milestones available if 5k or more!!! I see the point about Kabam helping reach ALL milestones, but it’s a moot point because they have asked waaaaay too much from players in the only 2 they have done. They looked at ALL data, and basically said “do 4-6x as much as u have EVER DONE”. Then said, we are gonna make milestones even higher than that?!?!?!?! BS!! Epic fail.

ALL milestones should be attainable! No matter the Event. They pushed soooooo many ppl to point of exhaustion/burned out for BG and still nowhere close to all. U can say “only 300mil away”. That’s after 70mil stark drop! Even with that??? Still nowhere close though thousand busted their A’s to try!!!! Kabam knew dam well it was take way more than the actual players. Needed hundreds of “new” (just started during event), plus hundreds that haven’t played in weeks/months contributing. All equals. 1.5bil???? UNREACHABLE!!!! They knew this 100%!!!!
That also keep saying they don’t wanna have players burn out!! Which should be obvious, since actives are what make them money. Yet they do an event where sooooooo many get BURNED OUT?!?!?! Without that piddling dam “stark drop”??? We would’ve been OVER 30% SHORT OF ALL MILESTONES!!!!!!! There ur perspective!!! Only 2/3 of milestones. Sad as hell they set so dam high. They knew it wouldn’t be reached!!!! KABAMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I was them I wouldn’t do it for exactly this reason.

The goal for the battleground realm event for the 1 billion mark. Everything past that is bonus. We easily reached the 1 billion mark without the donation. So how is it a failure?

I don’t think that’s a conclusion that’s accurate. It’s highly likely participation only picked up because of the “donations” and we would have missed without them. But neither statement is provable.

I’d say it’s a failure for a different reason, which is the current sentiment from the player base. We got a lot of seven star shards, one t4a, a titan and some bonus titan shards. And despite that, I think most of the players I read here and talk to on Line would say they really disliked the event.
Not a great outcome when you’re heading into your biggest sales of the year. You want excitement and positivity, not burnout and aggravation.
I may feel differently in a couple of weeks, but after the general grind required for 5k, the frustrating combination of AI/meta, fighting the same 8-10 champs over and over and over… I’m not at all excited to spend.

That's a good point, but I think we are still in the phase of Kabam figuring out what the players are capable of, so that future Realm Events are achievable for us without external help. Ofc that is true only if Kabam intends for the final milestones to be reachable.
With BG blitz it seems like the goal was to reach 1B points, so that players get rewarded for their effort, but everything beyond that is just a matter of how far is the playerbase willing to push. And there I am fine with not reaching all the milestones (even tho I am now 1200 shards away from Titan). But for the 1B, it would suck not to reach it

100%
It is very clear that Kabam set this up with the top prize at 1 billion points.
They then gave bonus milestones thereafter; rather like the milestones they added to the Road to the Crypt Event.
People who got the intended 'top' rewards are now b*tching about not getting the bonus rewards.
In contrast, people were very grateful for what they saw as 'extra' rewards for Road to the Crypt.
If I was Kabam, my learning would be: okay, we got the 1 billion points thing right. Next time, 1 billion will be the 'final' milestone announced; and if the community surpasses it, we'll do a 'Stark Foundation' announcement of 'bonus' milestones...

I don't that's the reason... Rttc had no external donation, so people are happy with whatever they got. But this one has someone who can artificially contribute as many points they can. We have the option for freebie that's why we demand it

Y'all got any more of those Stark Foundation points?

I agree, they should reward the final milestones to anyone who crossed 5k, and let sub 5k players just get what they have.
