What problem? The community picked the metas. The same community complaining about the AI issues...
They're mainly complaining about ai, which is 100% kabam's fault
Yes and it's the one millionth post about it even after they've already addressed they know there's AI issues, so what's there to address? What more do you want them to say about it?
I’m not sure, it just makes bgs frustrating with the nodes and ai
Blame the community for the nodes. We voted for them.

I’ve been through a lot buddy, it’s going to take a lot more than words or songs to make me depressed
Don’t get me wrong, I’m in no way complaining about “unfair” matchups. I’m just a little frustrated when the ai doesn’t true special and waits for sp3.
I am a member of this community and I didn't vote for it. And when you come on forums nearly daily and complain that champs are holding blocks, not throwing specials and and that the AI is messed up and then you vote for a power gain meta? Pretty stupid if you ask me. So which part of the "community" voted for the meta? My guess would be the whales, shills, and kabam's employee players.

Either you’re joking or not i voted because vt is dead easy. Gc meta was just frustrated because we constantly had to do intersup a lot more then normal. But it was for the most time fun for me
I’m sure we’re all aware of the frustrations with ai and I know Kabam is too, so why are they making things like the toad sos or the new bg season? There’s been enough discussion on toad, so I wanted to talk about the new bg season. Kabam is aware of the ai not throwing specials so why did they add a power gain node in bgs? They expect players to play bg and do the community event, but why would they do that if the ai only throws sp3s? It’s almost unplayable and just over all super frustrating. Why are you doing this to us Kabam??
Yes they are. Fact they’ve learned. Frustrated people rage play/spend
People complain about mechanics and that mechanic becomes a node. You mentioned specials Look at how many threads talk about frustration with intercepting. What becomes the focus of bg circuit? Their employees dump on you regularly Knucklehead professional trolls tell you you’re bad at the game and make a joke of it. While your tickets are getting apologies and we’re getting emails apologizing about the state of the game.

This guy at it again… “singing” a song making fun of you, blaming you and only you! Scroll through the forums and watch @KabamDORK talk about them wanting to fix it….
Imagine you get a letter from your car company “ we’ve had an issue reported with your vehicle and we’re working diligently to come up with a fix. Then you get told to bring it in (get a patch)” You bring it in.. still not working properly. You bring it back and say it has the same problem… and the mechanic starts singing that it’s your fault and laughing in your face like the troll he in fact is.
What reputable company would do that? What company would watch their employees alienate thousands of their customers??? Answer: one that knows they profit regardless of their of treatment of those customers. Because they simply have no reason to care about satisfaction or enjoyment.. their job is to make the game harder and increase spending and therefore profits. If it was McDonald’s where most of them should be working they’d get fired for disrespecting their customers.
You voted for passive “Ai”? You voted faster recovery and all the things that come with it? Opponent blocking your relic sometimes during attacks, throwing specials after your combo, hitting you after a combo, chaining specials before you can recover and block. That was you that voted for them to move based on your inputs rather than them reacting to your champions movements from your inputs???
If that really was you. Thank you for having the courage to come forward and admit your mistakes. You sir, have made an awful mistake that all of us are now left to deal with.

I think we as a community voted for this meta because Kabam said they were working on fixing the ai and we hoped it would get fixed before the bg season. I personally didn’t vote, so I’m not sure what the other metas were. I was able to get into gc which is worse; however, there have already been a lot of complaints about it and the season is over.

For whales it is, but for smaller accounts it isn’t and very win counts. Don’t talk on behalf of the whole community, and say it’s easy. I haven’t spent a single penny on the game and I only have one rank 3. I don’t want you to tell me that it’s easy when it’s not for everyone.
Just wait till I finish the entire battle real academy with all 285 or so champs lol. Don’t worry though I have a way to make it to where you don’t have to read everyone’s roles in the school again for each update.
I'm not a member of the community team, my job isn't to manage the community. Years ago now Miike and Jax asked me if I was willing to be a game team voice on the forums. I think I've developed a reputation for engaging openly and honestly with players. If you look at my post history, you will find examples of me providing information directly from the team, many examples of me dunking on cheaters who come here to plead their case, and a number of cases of me admitting game team mistakes and talking about how we are looking to fix them.
That open and honest communication is a two way street. If we do something dumb and I comment about it, I try to admit it. At the same time if players are wrong about something, it's fair game to call them out. In this case, the OP asked "why did they (Kabam) add a power gain node in bgs", and the answer is we didn't, the players voted for it. So I poked a little fun at it. If you don't appreciate my sense of humor that's fine, but understand Kabam employees aren't drones. If we are going to exist in this ecosystem together we should be allowed to try to have some fun with it like everybody else does.

I never complained about your post, In fact I continued it with more song lyrics. I also fully admit to my mistake of calling you out when we as a community voted on it. If I could I would most certainly change the post, so that I would be asking the community why we voted on it and not why Kabam gave us the meta. Also at the time of posting it almost a month ago I somehow wasn’t aware that we voted on it, and I was under the impression that y’all (Kabam) gave us the power gain node.
I hope this clarifies things and thank you for your time @Kabam Crashed. Sorry for the inconvenience

I understand that you probably don’t mean anything bad or make fun of him, and you’re right that this meta is voted by players, but the thing is that it looks like Kabam still underrate how serious of the AI issue and how frustrated some players are (like the OP) now. And yes response as a drone like Miike before sounds boring, but it’s still better than the way you did because for someone like me, or many it’s acceptable and kind of fun as well, but regarding customer services, when you don’t know what kind of people you’re dealing with, it’s still better and safer to choose the way to approach like Pinwheel or Dork.

The forums are not a customer service portal. If all you want is customer service, open support tickets. That's the customer support portal.
The forums primary purpose is for player to player conversation about the game, moderated by the forums. When the developers themselves participate, *if* they participate, it is as forum participants that just happen to have a lot more inside information than the average player.
You can choose to hold them to the standards of being customer support representatives, but then that creates a devil's choice. Act as customer support representatives in all respects, or not participate at all. And *most* developers of *most* games choose the latter. In some games, its *everyone* that chooses the latter and there's no direct contact with the devs at all.
We aren't entitled to direct communication with the developers. You can't force them to interact with us. They can withdraw from the forums if they choose. I think most players would rather they participate, but if that were to somehow change, they'd just stop showing up at all.

I don’t know if you’re still at school or already join the job market. First, whatever your role in a company, even your JD is mostly focus on technical, like me I’m a construction engineer, the rare moment I interact with clients, that’s still customer service, and greeting customers is the requirements in any company.
Second, yes, if their JD don’t require him to directly communicate with players, and moreover he doesn’t want to do it, just don’t do it, leave that for someone has responsibility to do.
Third, I know sometime customers service like ****, some clients are annoying and even make nonsense, I have experienced it as well but you’re still need to greeting them because that’s professional and you got paid to do it. Your job is try to explain for them, and if they’re still not happy, then keep silence would be smarter than arguing with them ).
And finally I know the game industry is a very special business, unlike others, here the game company have way more powers, they can sell a defective characters, or game mode without worrying about warranty, because it’s listed in their TOS, and not care about lawsuit as well. The clients in this industry are also kind of “easier”. So, just don’t spend too much time especially money if it’s not worth it.
