You obviously never been around for a banquet event before. People will spend over 100k US dollars alone. 50k units is nothing.

If you only have about 10k units it’d probably be better to just use them on banquet right? Don’t think that’ll get you far in cyber stuff

Plus i’m from the UK so idk about what US members of the community are doing. I’ve played the game for 8 years + so your assumption is just way off 💀

Then your blind or naive. Either way. 10k is a drop in the bucket. MANY players have saved way more than 10k. I only play maybe an hour a day tops and I have 20k myself barely hitting a few arena milestones maybe once a week. 10k units is nothing. Sounds to me like your entirely too casual a player if you never see 10k units.

Man, I've been stuck on cavalier for a bit. Just haven't made the time for story mode. I rejoined the game in August after a 3 year hiatus, doubled my roster, rating, and prestige. I'm on 6.2.4.
Does anyone think I have a chance to get to paragon by cyber weekend if I grind?

I'm holding 15k units right now, most I've ever had. Going to spend at least 10-12k on banquet and see what I get. Cyber is guaranteed value but banquet has never let me down even with mediocre rewards

Yeah this is true. I know some grinders, myself included, and 10k units is easy as pie. I spent 36k at 4th, mostly took summer off arenas and only recently started back with a real grind. Gone from 358 units to near 21k and 4m BC.

A serious grind would've had me over 30k. I'm aiming for 36k for Cyber and 10-12k for Banquet if it looks 🔥 or I'll save if it looks meh.

@Donavans it's definitely doable and I recomend checking out videos for each quest for quick tips on who's best to use and how to play the routes. (Mcoc noob / Mcoc encyclopedia) I would just pace yourself and aim to get there by the end of the year. Rushing content can sometime be more stressful than rewarding.

However if you have a ton of units saved or plan to drop a good amount of $$ on the event, the higher progression might be worth it. But typically banquet is better for lower progressions.

Keep in mind if you spend enough units you’ll not only get chances at insane rewards in GBCs but you’ll get milestone rewards too

Yeah I don’t see why Banquet Advocators aren’t mentioning this part. This is almost the real reason to even go with Banquet crystals. The rewards in the milestones could make up for the bad rng in the GBC if you ask me.

Get your milestones and a little more on Banquet. Save the rest for July 4th and go all out. This is the 10th anniversary Banquet though so it could be really special. If it is, then go all out on Banquet.

I’m going banquet. Already gone all in on getting these dang tickets. Have a guaranteed 12 crystals already if I do the hunt so banquet it is for me

Unfortunately, the accolades event is giving 10 tickets instead of 10 banquet crystals, so the 12 crystals are basically a replacement for the 10 usually gotten through the accolades event.

Honestly it’s a hard thing to advise. Cyber will have offers that will for the most part, not be built around RNG. Banquet crystals have great value but are also built around RNG luck. I would say decide if the offers for cyber are useful or big enough for your account. If they feel too pricey with not enough resources, save for banquet then.

If you go all out Cyber wkd usually is at that point, especially if you then use any of the units for banquet.

But as this is the 10 years anniversary banquet may be superior guaranteed value this time with the milestones.

I agree with @Nemesis_17 based on the last two years. Kabam have said they are going to make Banquet better for Valiant this year, but we don’t know what better really means.

I don't want to spend any money for cyber weekends. So being that the case, i will spend all my 50k units in GBC for the Banquet. Should be able to reach 60k before the event start, if not 55k units

Keep a spreadsheet of your results and come back to tell us what you get for 60K in banquet. Would be fascinating to see.

Yes, if you do the calculations, you can end up with a ton of free units if you play only a certain amount of time everyday.

Even without daily grinding, if players save their units obtained from just playing the game and don’t spend unless its 4th of July/Thanksgiving, players will regularly have thousands of units saved. For example, if you play just enough to get the 25 units from the 22-hr milestone each day, thats 750 units after 30 days.

Now, if you spend your units then of course you won’t have 10k+ in your account. There are a ton of players who hoard units/crystals, and a ton of players who spend/open crystals as soon as they obtain it.
