Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. I've tried several of them that I have, but I just can't get the fight timing down. He won't throw specials when I need him too and then the degen kills me.

I don't have a lot of the better options ranked up either (like Bishop) and I'm short on resources.

So this months TB EQ quest is a pass for me. The side quest is actually easier for me this month lol....

So, I may not understand the interaction but this feels like another **** move by KABAM. I've quit out several times because I refuse to use resources.I don't seem to have the required counter(s)........ Suggestions please?

Apocalipse with 4 charges does pretty well. I soloed Mojo with him all the times.
(I Tried, Mag and Storm before with no luck)

dust was the best option i had that didn't just have the fight be more frustrating, she can build up to max prowress, and her sp3 loop is enough to deal with him due to her power saving she can go sp3, sp2, sp1 and he should be dead

If you're dying to degen you need to use champions without buffs and not dex.

Push mojo to special 1 for an easier way to parry it. Block the first hits until he jumps in the air and parry that last hit of the special to gain a prowess.

You can parry his special 2 beams as well, I just found special 1 easier.

Use champs with prowess effects, preferably passive prowess, like bishop, dust or dani moonstar. Don't use sunspot he won't work on this node.

TBH, I didn’t even know that you can technically “Parry” an opponent's SP.
In fight looks just like a normal block, not even sure after successfully doing it a few times whether the word “Parry” even pops up under the champ or not.

But yes, few times I was able to get a Parry against final hit of Mojo's SP1. Just can’t be too far away from it as you are blocking the earlier hits (else it just misses).

So do those others listed above have Prowess of their own, so you don’t have to rely on Parrying of SP ?
I used Kitty Pryde (with her Prowess) as well to take a lot of damage off (only on UC difficulty so far, not sure if there is extra node stuff on TB+ difficulty ??)

Just way too many separate threads about this Mojo EQ fight.
But here is a chart someone provided in one of the other threads..

Unexpected Cheese Alert: Shuri. I cleared the tech path with her so thought I would warm up against Mojo with her. I’ll be damned if she didn’t solo Mojo herself! It wasn’t fast, but I’ve fought longer boss fights in EQ. Just keep baiting the sp1 and punishing it, nothing fancy.

Back in the day you could actually parry specials and stun the defender. It was OP and they removed it a long time ago.

I tried a few of the champs with their own prowess, like Bishop and Kitty, but the degen can still catch you out when you dex, and unless they have a big enough health pool (like 7* R2) the degen will eat you away. Then I switched to Red Guardian and got an easy solo. No buffs, no degen, and without the degen Mojo is nothing. Just bait SP1, hold block through all of his first hits and then when he jumps up you parry the last hit. That gives you the passive prowess, and you can hammer him with your specials. You can dex as much as you like with Red Guardian because he doesn't get the precision buff. I've also done the fight easily with Spidy 2099, and assume any other no-buff champ like Titiana, Cassie or Antman would do the same.

I totally agree, and that Nimrod on one of the paths sucks also! Another cash grab move from Kabam.
You use money to do Event Quest? What? That the easiest thing in MCOC

    Apocolypse still works.

    3 paths, solo each time.

The great old days. Hulk had a headbutt sp1 that was ridiculously easy to parry.

Any champions with easy access to Prowess should make this fight simple but the best option is Moonstar because of her SP1 and also she doesn't have issues with huge HP loss due to degen damage.

My bishop literally did this fight under 35 seconds

Kitty Pride works. SP1s and SP2s.
  • allinashesallinashes Member Posts: 845 ★★★
R2 7* Sunspot was best for me, only champ I was able to solo with that big Sp2 damage helping. Emma, Bishop and Toad worked also but were only R3 and I struggled with them.

    kitty worked smoothly

Spider Ham did this fight pretty easy. It wasn't fast but it was easy with him.. He slows that degen damage enough to parry the specials for that prowess buff.. This thread just lets me know I got good long ago...

I did it with Red Mags. He does get degen damage, but magnetism keeps it to a minimum as long as you don't activate Mojo's prompts. Also, don't try to build to a special 3. I tried that first and it was just too much dancing with the matador node. Just keep spamming special 1 and he goes down in a reasonable manner.

So, what's the rank of all these champs that are having no problems. I feel like that's important as well. Because my 6 star r2 kitty pride is not the same as a 7 star r3..... I only have 3 maxed out 6 stars and one 7 star at r2 (Venom),

Any mutant with lots of prowess works. Kitty, Storm, Havok, Apoc, etc, not sure about the struggle here

I beat him with a R4 6star Bishop. As others have stated, it takes a little getting used to if you're playing with a mutant, but once you start walloping with either SP2 or SP1s, he folds pretty quickly if he has any Prowess charges on himself. I just have one more fight against him. Others on the team include Spider-Ham, Captain Marvel Movie, Juggernaut, and Omega Sentinel. I think I also had a skill champ, depending on the path I was facing to leave Bishop with as much health as possible.

My first attempt, I didn't have any mutants, and it was a slog chipping away at him (went through way too many healing potions/revives as a sunk cost fallacy, but did eventually knock him completely out).

Adding the mutant who easily slaps down Prowess and other debilitating effects was enough to really wallop him. I usually run everyone who has any health at him first to whittle down, then the Bishop. I've gotten unlucky a few times taking the degenerating damage with Bishop, but at least one revive on Bishop is usually enough to take him the rest of the way out.

Then your roster and skill is the issue, not the fight.

That's not an insult. I remember when a completion of master was hard for me.

In 6 months or a year you'll be fine but at the moment you might have hit your wall.

We’re talking about the highest difficulty level, so it’s reasonable to assume 6*r4 or higher. Your Kitty is on the weak side of that. You got anything stronger?

Trying to get Mojo to throw a special to get power is maddening with this A.I. you end up dying from the degen from dexing before that fat **** throws a special. Horrible fight

Exactly. The fat dumb s….+ won’t dump his sp and the degenerate kicks in. The effing disgusting degen.

I’m slowing working my way back with Cavalier first.

Idk how I finished TB the first time round but getting 100% is a problem because of this. Have completed all the other paths for TB but only left with these Mojo paths.

I used Bishop, and brought OG Storm to - but she’s not that guy 😅 Bishop works.

Its funny how everyone says use Bishop, then I use Bishop and he gets the regen, then mojo give me degan for it and i die in a few seconds.
