Making sure that everyone get the rewards they earned also implies that the alliances thar got better rewards should be downgraded. If integrity of the game is what you preach it should be done. Otherwise a weird precedent is set that in some cases you take rewards back and in other cases not. You can even cancel next season if you need more time to make it right for all. You get what you deserve…..

Also it would be nice to see a sheet so everyone can see where groups are placed now and what i should have been. Because if there was no outrage nothing would have been done

If its too difficult to clawback those who already got the better rewards than they earned as it wasnt their fault, you should just give extra rewards to the people who got worse than they deserved to surpass those who benefited from your mistake… win win win from all three sides

Meaning the plat 1 allis that got master rewards stay with that

The masters that got plat 1 give them master rewards plus some bonuses etc.

It would be fine if error fixes like these were uncommon. Unfortunately it seems to be the rule rather than the exception that something goes wrong. That's what's so frustrating; one error compounds into several, and rarely does everything actually go smoothly.

Will agree that the entire situation is less than ideal but that was always going to be the case after having to cancel a war. Have to make the best of a bad situation so for now the focus is first on making sure folks get the rewards they earned.

So... is this confirmation from Kabam that rewards *were* messed up and that some sort of alignment is going to happen?

If better rewards can not be overturned then the rest of the groups that were placed correcrly should also be bumped up by an extra tier.

Can people safely switch alliances is what we need to know?

Couldn’t agree more. I tried to make this point about the extra banquet tickets that floated around a few weeks back in BGs 48 hrs and got majorly hated on bc “one or two tickets isn’t a big deal” when that one ticket could let you buy the 7 star and 30 ticket bundle. Since clawing back the tickets would have been too difficult, just giving the 1 or 2 extra to everyone would have made since.

    Same concept here.

Like someone else said above it’s probably just easier to bump the ones that were downgraded to the better rewards. Those alliances can’t help the hand they were dealt. It’s tough to clawback rewards, especially if they were already opened, etc.

Than even the alliances that were placed correctly should also be bumped up. So everyone is +1 tier.

Why would the alliances already placed correctly go up another tier giving them even more rewards? I’m just trying to see where you’re coming from with that idea.

The only right Solution is to Hand out everyone new rewards based on the RIGHT leaderboard. Everyone gets the amount of rewards they deserve. The „wrong“ rewards would be a compensation for kabams incompetence

Because some alliances got more than they deserved and their rewards might not be corrected. So bumped up from what they should get. So all alliances should get extra bump up. Those that got screwed in the first place should get +2 than. So everyone is +1 than.

This would make more sense. I’m following now

If I remember well when Kabam stopped a season, we all received bumped up rewards (except master). It should have been the same… Today at least 5/6 alliances got master title without normally be master after correction. Not fair for others.

Did you read my message like two before that one? haha

But yes to confirm we are working to ensure those who were negatively affected in their placement are getting the rewards they would have earned with the correct standings. We'll have a proper announcement on it soon.
Alliances that will get better rewards or correct rewards are still at a disadvantage. Also many players didn't get the ridiculous AW compensation from war 4. Are you going to compensate the whole season because of unfair matchups and screwed leaderboard?

I'm not sure where the disadvantage is for P1 alliances that got master rewards. I think that you think what is being communicated is master alliances that got P1 rewards will have full master rewards sent to them, however from what Pinwheel was saying, it sounds more like master alliances that got P1 rewards will get the difference between P1 and their actual rank.

For example, let's say that P1 gets 1 t6cc selectors and masters get 2 t6cc selectors. The master alliances that got P1 rewards would then only get 1 t6cc selectors to make up the difference between what they got and what they should have gotten. The P1 alliances that got master rewards are sitting pretty with also getting 2 t6cc selectors instead of just the 1 they should have gotten.

    Look:
It is not fair that Alliances got better rewards than they deserve. The alliances that got higher rewards are at an advantage.

It is not fair that alliances will get their correct rewards because this will result in double rewards. If you give them the difference between for example P1 and Masters then everything is okay.

There are still alliances that got better rewards and titles.

Also there was no compensation for this horrible season and the compensation for war 4 is bugged

They should give all alliances +1 Tier rewards/double rewards and give those alliances that got higher rewards their correct rewards. In that case every alliance would have their correct rewards +1 Tier higher rewards/double rewards. This would solve the problem that you cant claw back rewards.

This would also solve the compensation problem

Honestly we could see this happening. Should have gone with my original suggestion of leaving everything as is. Ignore the problem war and give everyone rewards for a tier above where they finished.

Fair to all, no faff around removing points, changing war ratings etc. less work for Kabam, bit of goodwill to the players, win win.

It is what it is. I hope they will face the consequences when the next pay event comes but I also doubt that. Just let AW mode perish XD

So I think its safe to say Kabam should never cancel a single war from now on. Its not the first time it happened and things got screwed.

At this point they are trolling anyway

    Alliances got higher rewards

Alliances got easy high tier ranks while playing against low tier

    Screwed leaderboard

    Unfair matchups

    GGs

Seems like they should just give everyone a bump in tier rewards at this point😉

Like you know, the solution that would have worked from the beginning lol

Is there anyway every alliance could possibly recieve a tier bump in rewards to maintain fairness in this situation?

I made a post about a week ago outlining how the canceled war affecting war rating lost my alliance a reasonable chance at getting p2. I know not many alliances are affected the same as mine, as many aren't on the cusp of a tier multiplier.

It would be much appreciated if you and the rest of the employees working on the rewards issue would consider giving everyone a tier bump. Thanks for addressing the issue here regardless.
